Pot Transplant FAIL!Roots Ripped off!

Hey guys,
So this morning i wanted to transplant my Babie in a bigger pot. I tryed to pull it out of the soil, i pulled slightly and got it out the soil but i also ripped of the Root ends!
The Roots which are going down from the stem are still on the Stem, but the ends which where in deep in Soil got ripped of. So now i transplanted it and came back home and saw the Leaves are curled and some edges are very dry. You guys think it will still survive?HELLP

You have any rooting hormone or solutions? If you do give it a light dose. Something with IBA, NAA or B1. You should be fine, it will take a couple weeks to recover and start growing again.

yeah I completely fucked mine with a transplant couple days ago, went droopey as fuck. Just relax and let it bounce back itself. give it 48hours and will liven up. just my 2p worth.

If it's just the root ends, you'll be fine...she'll recover in a few days to a week or 2.

Is it just me pissing myself laughing that this guy has pulled his plant out of the soil. Not slamming you matey but when you re-pot, ya transplant the contents of the smaller pot as 1, soil and roots all together. Loosen the ball a bit as best you can without ragging ya roots everywhere, put into larger pot and back fill around the edges.

when thansplanting---use a razor knife remove bottom of planter and stack planter onto a larger planter--then you never touch the roots100_3637.jpg

I mean don't get me wrong obviously works for him and i cant see why it wouldnt work well... maybe im just old fashioned? Let it dry the fuck out then gently wiggle it out and new pot it goes for a super soaking :D

i do take from small pot if plants are going to get big like here100_3692.jpgi disagree guys---lowryders go deep and not very wide-and they dont like to be transplanted.i will say i have very good luck with the tier .if i plant a reg plant i put from 1 gallon directly to a hole or 5 gallon bucket.look at this lowryder---3 tiers and growing like crazy!!!100_3733.jpg100_3734.jpgit must work ok i have 11 girls starting to bud right now!!i know growers who use this method for all autos---with very good results

For auto's..... different story. Auto's hate transplants so this would be a wicked solution. Keep ya soil mix the same though for every pot.

yes i mix a full 4 cubic foot bag with 3 bags of perlite and 2 bags of vermiculite,a hand full of blood and bonemeal at 1 time and store in plastic trash can--after i cut down plants i put soil in my vegatable gardens

your not alone lol im sitting here thinking to myself why has no one said anything yet lol then i got to your response who in their right mind rips the plant out of the ground when transplanting i guess you'll have the know how when it comes to pulling it out for harvest if it makes it lol
