Cuz sometimes them tops just needs pinching...I once found that I had a top pinched off in my fingers before I even decided whether or not I wanted to do it!~
 
Lol jeans to each their own. But my yields are higher without removal of any laterals or tops just fans come off in my finger sometimes lol
 
So, if you FIM and miss... is it a FIMFIM? I have 8 plants right now and I've LST'd 3, FIM'd one and topped one... the other 3 I've left alone. It's my first offical grow and I can't just wait patiently for them to need water and stuff.. I gotta mess with 'em. LOL
 
Scrog is the best method in my opinion as well, but you cant get a decent scrog without topping. I topped my waterfarm, and now I am scrogging. I like topping because it produces many more branches and doesn't allow for major stretching. I'm happy with my methods, and to each its own.
 
Indeed, I've never needed to top for a scrog though just how I roll either way. Things be comn ong nicely ;).

Lol jeans if it's your first grow of course your gonna be tryin everything. Every grower grows a bit different to suit their needs.

Take turtle and my grows he tops and scrogs I don't top and scrog we're using the same method and still doin it different lol. Everyone has a way that works easiest for them. To those that have found it props. To those still lookin keep it green and enjoy tryin new things. It's the spice of life, it's why I love havin a diverse mother room ;)
 
Beginning of Day 2 flowering.
I looked up the video from greenhouse seeds company today and the first 7 days of the plant seemed to be a massive stretch. I believe it because my jack herer is starting to stretch mad. I topped each of the 4 main colas, in hopes of trying to turn this stretch into a bush with many colas. The LSD is also looking very nice, stretch out very well. Both of these plants are growing very similarly, except one is soil and the other is hydro. Should be a nice partnership for the rest of their growth. I also took two clones from each yesterday, so I will be running more of these plants in the future.

How's that Scrog working out? It looks really cool and pic #3 looks likes its working well. I've been thinking about that for a future grow...

The screen is working amazing. I topped each main branch and the girl is still stretching. Since she has been topped, the inside Nodes have been growing very strong. She will be starting to stretch in the next few days, so I cant wait to see what she looks like soon.
