What's that supposed to mean? His weed was grown by the blood of Jesus but now with Satan's piss? How was his different? The new magical potent weed, that's been available for thousands of years too? I wish Newt would join RIU so he could explain his superior motality weed. I'd like to grow some and try, maybe then I could be set for life on the congressman dole system.

well to put it quite simply... all politics are just a form of bullshit coming from a bunch of bullshitters... ;) the real truth is we dont need leaders... but unfortunately people are just too conditioned into believing that that is whats best for them and they end up all crying out ohhh we need a leader we need a king etc... and when the leader/ruler takes 50% of what you own for himself and his posterity and then takes our children to fight and die in his wars...

then do all his bidding and what he determines as "right and wrong" then after time goes by and the same cycle happens and shit hits the fan then of course...

all the people then end up crying out again saying oh no!!! our leader/govt is terrible woe is me... and unbeknownst to them they never really needed a leader/leaders in the first place and would do fine in a world where each and everyone ruled themselves and where the time old saying and laws which were in effect back then and which are still in effect today of common law and that is do no physical harm to others and do not physically take from others...

well... maybe one day... yeah right... sorry to be a bit cynical but too many sheeple as the colloquialism goes these days ;/

You are talking about people being responsible for themselves. going to be hard to do when the Government has raised entire generations on its tit. Some people really don't like it when the tit is removed.

the sooner people start to see what things are for what they really are then the better off this world will be... i may be reiterating the obvious but here it goes anyways...

for instance the presidency or race for the presidency is a farce... it is nothing more than an event just like american idol... and it is just replacing the face that is in front of what really controls countries... and that is banks and families who run the banks and their companies who are there financed by the banks and are all there to keep a vacuum hold on everones pockets and minds and even to some extent their "souls"...

that is so very true nodrama...

i believe it is a hard balance for them to attain... but if you think about it speaking of the generational factor... think about the education system... since when has any school (since the banks have been running this country) ever taught a student or students on how to grow a garden and other essential things needed to create food and sustenance for oneself or their family??? you didnt have to look very hard for a family or children in the latter end of the 1800's to ask one if they knew how to farm or raise food for themselves...

nowadays all the schools do is teach and entrain and ingrain or to put it more harshly brainwash children into going through the "system" and being a slave to it till they die and having to give up all of their freedoms because they have been enslaved by the "almighty" they call money :(

but then people like the easy way and would rather be a slave for the system and spend 40 hours in front of a deep fryer with little skill or work involved at mickey d's (if they are lucky enough to get that many hours of work these days or work at all) and get just enough to be in poverty and still have most of the "monetary useful value" (in this mucked up system) taken back from their "leaders" and just barely stay alive...

THAN rather spend 60 hours of good and although hard work growing or raising your own food... but then there is again the availability of land and more of the "bullshit system" that wouldnt allow one to aquire the land in the first place to "break away" from the system in the first place...

so it is really a quite and deviously controlled way of living that has been forced upon the entire "civilised" world and until people can unite or as long as the ones who are (of course only in power cause stupid people give it to them) keep everyone dumbed down and or divided then we will never see real change in order to have our quality of life truly to benefit in the near future... :/

Unfortunately, this is the social baggage that will accompany almost every Conservative candidate. It's a bitter pill to take with the hint of fiscal sanity that a great many of us desire. But, even the Dems of late pay lip service to the religious folk and their hatred of the deadly cannabis weed.

Almost to a person they go to church services and profess their love for the almighty, especially on holidays. Too many religious folk in both parties to risk alienating them by espousing atheism. I could spend a couple of hours tracking down examples for most of the senators/congressmen, but I'd rather not. As to legalization, even Obama has taken a turn to the dark side. Not too many politicians calling for legalization leading up to an election year, pisses off all the bible thumpers.
