Are you going to fill the case with soil? Of all the places you could put a plant you decide on the guitar case. Just dont take the case to guitar lessons full of dope plants thinking the guitar is in there.

Don't you have a closet, attic, basement, old computer case, dresser, cabinet, cupboard, refrigerator...really anything else. Explaining why you got a bunch of 55 gal drums may be a little harder than explaining a cabinet. When you design a growspace one of your primary concerns should be airflow, with a 55gal you are going to have to cut holes in it if you want to seal the top...not a very good option, at least with a cabinet you can remove part of the cheap cardboard back and assist with your airflow.

I've seen people grow in lots of crazy little spaces but 9 out of 10 end up with sub-par results if they even complete the grow. Set it up right the first time and always remember that air flow and environment are essential for results. This plant can grow practically anywhere and will likely grow anywhere if you plant the seed but in order to get it to perform in a fashion that makes it worth your time and effort you have to ensure that you are meeting the needs of the plant.

I just re-read and it sounds a bit harsh, I hate the internet sometimes...it's meant to help though and I apologize in advance if it comes off as harsh.
