Folks, Iv been to the end of the internet, now im done traveling, Im ready to settle down, and really all roads lead to RIU.

I have such an erratic sleep pattern, coupled with complete boredom with, internet conspiracy sites (all tho, yes I do believe in SOME of them),porn(yeah can ya belive it), and everything else out there, I get a lot of time here. My only tru Love is the MaryJane......

Okay folks, I've discovered that my RIU addiction is really just a spinoff of my Growing Addiction. I realized the severity of the problem when I came home from work last night.

I breezed in and said hello to husbandblob on the couch and went straight to the grow room without even taking off my coat. Before I realized it, I had been in there for an hour, talking to the girls, snapping pictures, making notes, tweaking the air and lights, etc... I hadn't even spoken to my son nor had I made any attempts at dinner. I was just in "wonderland".

Then I started dinner, blazed on some keif, and signed on to RIU... Thanks to the Keif and RIU, I nearly burned dinner (because I forgot I was in charge of the food prep). Soon as dinner was done, I stayed as long as necessary to be polite, then vanished back into the grow room for the evening. I'm just happiest in there. If I had a laptop so that I had RIU in the grow room, I'd probably never come out!

never was my rollitup addiction more obvious than last night when it was down for a few hours. i swear i pinged the site every 15 minutes. then i moseyed on over to another pot site and found that they were making a run at their record of "most people online". i honestly don't have anything better to do at midnight on a wednesday :sad:

it was torture.

That was making me anxious to... I thought I'd never get to communicate with or see an other new picture of Kuroi... :(

Funny! I posted in another thread that RIU was my only social life. Without this, I would have to talk to my family...and that's just not joy.

I've been playing CrackDown2, and it's hard to hit up the DNA thread much, unless you know what's going on.
I'll get back in, I just gotta beat this game, not much longer at all :)

Haven't started yet. I thought the guy wasn't answering because he was on break or something, but he STILL won't answer. SO...I'm gonna find a new like glass studio place to learn from :)

Yeah it sucks when the Artisan/Craftsman doesn't have time or want to teach you. Lapidary and growing were like that for me for many years. Some people don't want competition or to give out 'trade secrets", but there are a few that have really helped me along. Be persistent, you'll find someone. Good luck!

Experience has taught me that it is better to learn from someone who wants to teach rather than someone who consents to teach.

True, though I generally feel that someone consents to teach because they want to teach. Sometimes certain personalities click, then, after a friendship is born and trust built, knowledge is passed along, and both grow from the experience. I've chiseled through many crusty exteriors only to find a treasure beneath.
