Great recipe man... Must give it a go someday.. Although I was talking to my cousin the other day about harvesting and Im very shy when it comes to trim, ie any leaf with crystals doesn't get chopped..
So I wouldn't really have as much good trim as some others, however this will have to change as I want to try a go at bubble bags..plus a method using some strong alcohol, can't remember the name of the stuff but it's strong shit...

I prefer to leave only calyx but my patients demand the best of the best. All the trim is processed into edibles, bubble hash, or BHO and then used. I do take a bit of a hit on the weight & it's more trim work, but the taste of pure calyx is worth it.

I got a set of 5gal sprung bags for 79 shipped in the US. Includes 25, 73, 110, 160, and a 220 work bag. That hash on my thread was produced by these actually, been using them a couple years. The iso method you are talking about is qwiso which stands for quick wash iso. Use 99%, and don't shake it too long 'hence the quick' so you don't get to much chlorophyll. Never made the qwiso personally as I prefer the bubble the most.

Used about 6-8 oz...not even 100% because I didn't weigh it tho.

For smallish grow areas with maximum bud, scrog is the way to go...

O.K. guys here it is...

Just a bundle of pics really... The room got as low as 8.6c today and getting a high of 26.7 which the large fluctuation maybe starting to slow them down a bit...

I've noticed they're not drinking as much and also dont look to be ready in 2 weeks... plus they are not as fat as id liked...!!

Moan, moan moan....!!

Anyway, One pic is of a small stubby plant on its own, this is the Amnesia, She just looks like one fat bud..! I'm hoping to pull her over towards the light once one of the Cheese has gone..

Another pic is a plant that has droopy leaves, more of a sativa leaf.. this plant has always been like this and im wondering why... Its on the far side of my room where i think stale air maybe a cause...?? however the amount of air being passed through there per minute is more than enough... Ive not over watered as Ive left that plant out a couple of times on the watering/feeding cycle..

I've managed to source some bubble hash...! The guy I got it from says he uses two bags only, the work bag and I assume the smallest bag.. Have to say I love it, strong stuff and melt between your fingers stuff.. Can make you melt I've you smoke to much.. I guess this would be good eaten..

Thanks man, about to go out to them now and check the min/max temps..
The weather is to be cold through the week, I'm not so worried about evening temps as I have my lights on.. It's the cold days that slows things down, I have a heater with temp control on it but it's 2 k watts.!
I'm sure it gets cool in there but also the fluctuation from min to max is a bit much for them..

Although I'm smoking a bit of it now and it's not too bad..

Are you in a uninsulated space? I would think 2kw of light would be enough to heat any grow room with enough insulation. or is your problem mainly your off time? I have had good results by setting up 2 flower spaces and then flip floping when the lights are on. Keeps the room temp way more even.

Just checked there and the room got down to 6.2c but a max of 26.5c.. That's some fluctuation ..!

The 2k was a heater and not lights and by looking at the weather it may be needed, hopefully the week after next will be mild.
Was looking at my crop and I'm not happy with the amount I'm about to get, plus the church has nearly stalled and yellowing up (fish mix added to her feed for this bitch)

I would insulate the shed or the box. Think it would be worth it. The cold really kills yields.

It's not really possible unless I cover the whole place with attic insulation and that would just cause a big mess..
I'll see how cold it gets today and if needed I throw in my fan heater

Hi,

7 weeks flowering

Took these pics last night... Still haven't put the heater in as its going be a bit tricky with my scrog and where to place it with out making any of the pots too hot... (Maybe i should get in there with them and find out)
The weather at night is coming close to freezing at night with cold icy winds during the day..
Im not too worried about the night temps as my light combat that, Its the cold days and the big range of temps that the girls have to go through is the problem

The Church is yellowing massively and not in a good way..! I'm not sure if its damage cause by training her some time ago or the cold or too much/ too little nutes...

I think they've longer than 1 week left at least, but on the other side of the coin id like to cut my losses and harvest now so i can have some semi cured weed for chrimbo...

I had to admit defeat and put in a fan heater in my room, the low temps are stalling my grow and I was going to harvest tomorrow evening (3 days before week 8 but I thought feck it why harvest early after all this time...

Much more toasty in there now... lows near 15c now.. Gonna give it till Wednesday for sure and take it from there..

Should of done it earlier....Doh...!!

If eleccy wasn't a issue then id grow auto flowers in the winter and stagger them on a weekly basis...

I've also decided that if/when i move out of the shed that the next grow room will be built with vertical scrog in mind..
