Winning the first state is important regardless, because it will undoubtedly influence other states/voters.
Imagine this, if Ron Paul wins, all of those who like RP but decide not to "waste their vote" would very likely choose to vote for him. Undecided voters are often voting for who is the leader and most likely to win as well.

yea sures hes on alright, on only 2 shows, all the other ones are less than 5 minutes in some off the cuff hour and they try to smear him the whole timeYeah, and as was pointed out today, the Iowa caucus is a collection of activists...it's not a primary.
