Recently My fellow breeder ****** Decided he wanted to cross his best TGA- Spacequeen dominant Vortex with my Dinafem fruit Auto (best looking female of the pack) and then with his Chernobyl and again with My best(personal preference) jillybean male. so i have an autoflowering plant about to be ready to produce seeds within the next 2-3 weeks and give me a whole new set of unstable but probably amazing genetics. Ill grow out 45 of the seeds as soon as they become available and document the different pheno's and genotypes ill find. perhaps someone else could benefit if i end up finding something bomb in the process, then information will be available on how to get this pheno and the odds or breeding required to get it.

Ok, great news. i Cut down the plant yesterday and got my seeds. Drying them now and will begin my Testing in a weeks time. Some are clearly different strains, some tiger striped, others are smaller but mature while some are huge and speckled. I hope to get as many pheno's as possible for some F2's. yes ive got 11 total autoflowering out of around 50+ plants successful to germ. lots of crazy ass variation. males are currently 4 weeks old and less than 1 week into flowering, as soon as i get pollen from them im going to put it in storage and use it for breeding f2's will be grown after i smoke all the plants and determine their quality/high.

observed traits of-

jillybean hybrid seed - massive fan leaves and tangerine skunky smells, strong hybrid vigor and indica dominant traits. got myself 3 males and a female i thought was male that showed autoflowering traits.

Chernobyl hybrid seed - More sativa leaning (chernobyl is dominant), sweet smell but kinds weak smell overall, excellent growth 0 autoflowering traits shown out of around 20 plants. killed off or donated on 11/29/11 started new batch same day.

Vortex hybrid seed- 4/20 plants showed autoflowering traits (all not grown by me, but people testing) 2 males 2 females. overall smells like fruit and skunk.

thanks, i was a bit doubtful of getting auto's after 3 weeks and not seeing any change, they all looked huge and strong (not like auto's lol) but ive gotten lucky with some actually showing the traits i wanted, hats off to dinafem. i was thinking of scrapping this and perhaps choosing better mother plant (autoflower) but after seeing the progeny go past week 4 im happy the non-auto's that came from this have some incredible hybrid vigor.

also im using a 600w hps to bring out auto's from the group under 18/6 cycle.

What phenotypes in the Dinafem fruit are/were you trying to isolate? and did you get any auto traits?

i wanted to isolate traits from the males, not particularly anything from the dinafem besides the Autoflower feature. I grew a few Fruit auto's and they had similar growth patterns almost identical, but one of them actually smelled like grapefruit and had showed sex(auto genetic) really early with good yields and sidebranching(perfect scrog autoflower). Just looking at the hybrids i can see the fruit auto in them, because they all have the indica influence and i don't mind that at all, because i just want to increase the potency of the auto and make it smell better.

im looking to increase: yields, potency, smell and lower the flowering time a bit.

what i don't like is the mutations ive been seeing, like contorted leafs, some show really odd trait of self topping(which is fine for a auto though i guess). some of the mutations i like are the 3 leaf seedlings, some show 3 coty's.

Here are my testers who didnt show auto traits (flowering them) and i got 3 tri leaf's out of about 8 seeds, seems to be a common mutation with this hybrid (Jillybean, Chernobyl and Fruit auto pheno's). ill add some video later.


EDIT: sorry i got high before filming, kinda shit quality but these are the newest batch i got from you, around a month old and im waiting on them to show sex so i put them under flowering conditions. after they show sex i'll put them back in flower, those that dont reveg are gonna be the keepers. probably going to give you the males i cant keep them.


also got some footage of the few 3 leafers i got. seems really common compared to most hybrids.

i think that one is a male, i topped it 3 times so far and it's growing too fast.

1:05- lol u keeping new seeds in that pouch? smart. i just hope you have better luck with females, i got enough males showing auto features , i decided i'd breed the males with EVERY female that shows desirable potency and smell or growth, that way, any recessive autoflowering traits will show even more in the f2 generation, then i'll really start to spread these seeds around and by f3 i'll have a somewhat stable pool of genetics that autoflower and by f4 i will consider it my newest IBL and only autoflower i've bred.
