so you're OK with ron paul sitting down with david duke, or stormfront, or other hate mongers, just as long as he gets his message out?

To start, yeah. i'd be ok with RP sitting down and being interviewed by/talk to Duke. Unless he is so repugnant to you that you would be willing to call for his open assassination as an enemy of the state, then the obvious action to take is to talk to him. That's how differences get resolved.

Not saying ANYONE would reach him but they MAY. If nothing else, there would be those that watched it simply because they believe as he does and support him. And guess what? The numbers would likely dictate that at least a few of those racists that watched would see what Ron Paul is saying regarding Liberty, tolerance, economics, foreign policy, the Drug War, the Police State, etc.

If you could speak with David Duke and be almost definitely assured that you would break through the blinders and hate of racism with even just a FEW people, would you not do it?

Founders of the constitution said that our representatives in congress and the President have a duty to not only follow the majority but to honor the rights of the minority. If they fail to do that than America is nothing short of a dictatorship. This means he, as a candidate for President, must respect and listen to the ideas and opinions of the people no matter how much he may agree/disagree with them.

So long as Ron Paul wasn't in the interview spewing racism, or allowing it to be presented, I'm perfectly fine with it.

in my opinion, thee is very little difference in the hatred and intolerance between ingraham and duke though (my statement in post 2 is also a link that explains why). they are both despicable human beings.

Duke i'm rather well-versed on. Ingraham, well, i saw a little of her and just couldn't stand her so i kinda skip over most of what she has to say usually.

Got any more "nasty" hypotheticals or are you going to finally just vote Ron Paul 2012?
