lol ur working in the right direction, it all comes with just a thought! Youre box looks quite nice but i do agree building them is fun!!! The cool thing is u learn alot by building it and doing it all on ur own! I cant wait to see more photos!!!

Here is three pics. Only two seeds rose, the other didn't but I'm germinating two more because I'm adding another pot in the box. Enjoy.
Also when and where do I "pinch" to make the plant grow bushy instead of vertical?

Hey buddy good luck with these little guys! Pinching! also known as supercropping? Im a true believer in it and have done it with every plant i have ever grown!
Let me give u a quick run by on how i do it! Pinch the branch with ur nail (clean nail, wash before ) You should pick a spot 3 to 4 leafs set from the top of the branch,
pinch it til u feel the inner structure rupture. Dont break the stem off and only Pinch during Veg
All u r doing is damaging the inner structure which causes faster growth! which we all love

wait longer, wait til the plant has a pretty healthy root system! Id say give it another week or so

Also I remember seeing someone pinching or cutting the plant when it first grows 2 or 4 nodes? Is that right? So Supercropping and LST are the only techniques required to stund growth vertically and make more bushy? How about fan leaves? Do I cut those? Any other techniques to use?

the biggest sprout is pretty tall. It has the 4 little leaves but I'm worried its stretched?

All four plants have sprouted! One of the plants are in a metalish coffee can, size of the other pots.
It isn't warm to touch so I think I'm good.

Christmas is coming up and I need a list of gifts under $500 total. Please suggest to help with cab or new cab.

So far I know for this cab I need: 2 carbon filters, ph kit, wood caulking.

New cab I would need: cabinet/ tent, duct tape, mylar, ph kit, 2 carbon filters

Which would be best? What should I add?

Gift ideas for the wife to buy.

Its whatever u feel like, if u feel ur CAB needs to be replaced and more work put in it I'd do that! If ur happy with how ur CAB is keep it! and buy lots of goodys!

If I do 12/12 from seed what will this do? I'm looking at another posters thread about doing a "perpetual" grow. I'm trying to find out how to turn my current box into harvesting every 2 weeks- 1 month. Any ideas?

Can I "pinch" my roots now? Do I pinch between the nodes or pop off the top? Also can I still LST or top the plants if I supercrop?

Is there anything else I should be doing or doing soon to the plants? Bending, cutting, anything yet?

UPDATE: Had to move my plants to a friends house. Need to build new cab, old one wasn't up to standards. I know it was a nice little plant so far but I have great faith in my friend watching them. Hope they go female! I will make a new post later on with updates.

they look fine..just be careful about where your growing.. and more importantly- who you tell.. your box looks alright but it wouldnt be a bad idea to start planning out a new and improved- (more stealthy) box. light leaks ruin the whole point of having a grow box in my opinion

i know once normally as soon as you switch from veg to flowering you switch the lights, but even at this young of an age or 12/12 from seed do you go right to 2700k?

If u switch to 12/12 the plants will naturally b n a veg state till they get to be mature enough to flower. Id switch the lights to the 2700k when u start to see signs of what the sex is. Itll take a few weeks so u shouldnt really b n a big hurry to change the lights. But if i was u i would get a double ended adapter so u can have 2 lights off one socket and run one 5700k and a 2700k if ur gonna do a 12/12 perpetual or ur gonna b switching lights n and out of u grow space every other week lol
