Round 3: Extrema & El Monstre DWC Cooler Scrog

Yep another photo shoot. The leaves are bent and messed up looking from the tucking, but they are healthy and looking good!

very nice blu. they are really looking good! i havent been able to access this site for two day's, has anyone else have this problem that you know of?
 
They are taking over the screen with a quickness!
I will be flipping to 12/12 within the next week sometime.
The shitty part is that when I flip I am not sure how many males I will have so once I know then I will weed out the males and rework the screen a little.
Definitely gonna have to pull some clones cuz starting from seed and not knowing everytime is a headache.

You're quite the skilled scrogger. That looks picture perfect. Dig the vigor of that trunk jutting out back there. I'm ashamed for not studying your skills sooner. I only looked at your second grow, and only in late flower. So I missed all this important action.

so did i... but i went back and read from his first grow.. soon after i was following the other mice to the dwc side. so far the grow has no issues and is half the work. i mean... this guy left his grow and went on a vacation!

Thanks! Coming from someone with your skills that is saying something.
Not sure if I'd call it skill or not. Just staying on top of it and tuck and pull everyday.
 
I will flip to flower tomorrow. Hoping for 2-3 females. All 4 would be awesome but doubtful.
I may fall short on my overall goal for this round depending on how many females I end up with, but I will pull a couple clones and bang em out next grow and get my pound. I just have to hope for the best and do what I can to make em grow. I may have to invest in another 400 or 600 watt light next time. My 400 is doing it but I want more.
That will get me up to 800-1000 watts and cover more area with 2 lights as opposed to just having 1-1000 watter.
One thing I have realized over these couple grows. In Round 1 I changed my rez water every week.
This grow as well as last grow I have changed my rez 2 times in 6 weeks of veg.
If the water or rez is not dirty then IMO there is no need to change it. My rez got dirty the first 2 weeks because the hydroton was washing into the rez. That is no longer a problem.

The last pic is my fan leaf collection. I pull the ones I can to this spot so they stay out of the way for the time being. You can see from the under shots that I will not have much undergrowth to cut off.
Most of the stems/branches reach the screen with a little coaching.

I'm thinking about getting an Iolite portable vaporizer. I have never really smoked from a vaporizer.
Is it worth the investment? Do you feel the same effects? I am in the dark as I usually smoke blunts or hit my glass pipe.

Smoking from a vaporizer was a little different for me...can't get used to not feeling the smoke because it's just vapor you're inhaling. It isn't until you're blitzed that you realize how effective it is and how much cleaner your lungs could be ;)

That's the exact same one I've been eyeballin !! lol


As far the rez change subject.......
I don't change mine at all.
My plants drink so much that by the end of a full 7 day week, I've already pour more than 10gals of R/O H2O back into the coolers.
That includes nute replacements and such after adding the plain water first.
Never a single prob in any of my grows for the last 1.5yrs using these same coolers over and over.

Yea I don't know if I wanna get me one or not. I like that they don't smell and can be smoked in public without as much of a problem. I haven't had to change my rez in a couple weeks and I don't plan to clean it again unless it just get plain nasty which I doubt will happen. Glad to see you back in the saddle Flo. I didn't know what happened to ya!
 
I still have the veg nutes in the rez. Haven't had the time to change them out.
Actually I'm not gonna change them out but simply hook my exterior rez up like I have needing to do for the last 2 weeks. I'll hook the ext rez up and feed my bloom nutes thru my feeder lines and it will mix with the veg nutes. Then it should be all good in the hood! Ready to see how many ladies I have and watch em flower. After I pull a couple clones of course.

ahhh i shoulda taken some clones from veg it doesnt look like the ones i took during flower will make it. you got a ton of shoots coming off that stem its crazy... do you not have a lot of tops trapped below the canopy? I just had to trim a few off mine :( but they looked more spread than that
