Is this too much for my room?

Hey guys, I have been flowering 3 vanilla kush for about 5 weeks now. I just added 3 different plants to my flowering room a few minutes ago for a total of 6 plants. I am using 5 gallon square pots. I am using a 600w hps to flower. My question is, are they going to be too crowded in the room? I was using a light meter and it was registering about half the light as the middle once I moved out to the outer plants. I want to make sure they are getting enough light, but unfortunately buying another light right now is out of the question.

Pictures make it hard to tell, how big is the area?
You have the right idea with lifting the outside plants, you could lift them a little more even. I think the light is a little high for an air cooled 600, but it will cover more area that way. May try dropping it a bit just to see how your light pattern changes, its easier to see than you might think.

It will work but for the very best and dincer buds I would put 2 600w in there and space them out a lil

Looks good, and I think you timed it ok. By the time your kush is done the others will be getting hairs, so that works. Put your new plants on the sides, full flower plants should get the best light. About those pots, are you sure no light gets through them?

I'm certain that is what he is talking about. I would maybe line the pots with Black plastic to be sure. and remember to make some holes in the plastic for drainage

It has drainage holes already on the sides and bottom. I bought them from a reputable hydro store, and the plastic is thick and not transparent at all. Pretty sure no light is getting in. I will buy black from now on though

I think the white ones are the shit, want to know if its light tight? next time you have an empty one hold it up so the bottom is blocking the light, is it glowing? If not then its all good.
I have white botanicare trays with white abs lids, no light leaks at all! And all white!
How many people grow in those orange home depot buckets? those things aren't remotely light tight.

Those pots are great. Don't listen to these cats that don't know about that type of pot. The white reflects light and helps keep the root zone cooler than a black pot that absorbs all the light and heat. Stay with the white ones, no reason to change at all. Plus square pots are nice for space efficiency.

Thanks for the info guys and thanks Peyote about the info on the white pots, I will definitely stick with them! I ended up moving the 3 younger plants to the outside like you guys said and put the 3 with hairs on it dead center under the 600hps. I added a couple 4' t8's on the wall for the younger plants to give them some supplemental lighting since they are on the outside. What do you think?

ha nahh.. i was admiring them, i havent really seen them used or noticed them in any pics, and they were hella attractive. yeah good info Peyote! no wonder they're attractive... they're the shizznat! psyched to go inquire at my local horticulture store about some nice chunky square white plastic pots that keep my roots cool and happy =P
