Jack Herer 50 to 70 day flowering period

This is my first time growing this strain, and I got the cut from a local dispensary. Sensi Seeds says it has a 50 to 70 day flowering period depending on pheno. I'm at 45 now -- could I really be chopping this beauty in 5 days? It smells juicy.

Also, the interesting thing I noticed about sensi seed's description was this:

"At their peak, buds are so thickly smothered with clear trichomes that they appear sugar-frosted or sparkling with dew-drops."

Does this mean I shouldn't wait for amber trichomes?

They do look pretty sugar frosted, and sparkling with dew drops.

i can't see your pix. i'll take your word for it. just chimed in to say i like those 8 weekers because it let's me squeeze in more grows per year. which equates to my retirement being that much closer

so i have a friend who is on day 40 of a jack grow today. his buds look IDENTICAL to yours! he has been wondering the same thing..."lot of clear trichs." so, what was the outcome? did you wait for ambers? any advice?
