Bad news if you have a dilapidated navy like Russia, or are unable to project any power (china, Iran, North Korea...) Too bad...too bad.
Strategically, they are all completely encircled by the US Navy ALONE that if you added the weight of Europe, there wouldnt be much of a chance in hell of the Russians/Chinese/Koreans/(Whoever else you think is stupid enough to wage war against us) winning, much less surviving a conflict that would leave them in a "rebuilding' phase for decades to come.

Thats because its the same exact system in place. nothing has changed for the people, only the names of the "leaders" change. they all are indoctrinated in the same schools of thought. Our legal system now isnt that much different than Rome was.
Its actually pretty scary when you think about how little human civilization has changed even over 2000 yrs. the haves will always have, they will always keep the have nots down.

America is the most mobile country on the planet in terms of your ability to change class. If you make use of your free education and work hard you can make a decent living in this country. If that is not enough you can start and run a business and make as much as you want (well, Obama wants to change that) but it remains true.
The only person keeping you down in America is you...

Simply not true. Not everyone has access to capital or to the education to make it work. There are shining examples of people who raise themselves up, many in fact. These are exceptional people. Opportunities of which you speak are not available to most. There will always be haves and have-nots, the elite and the lessor among us.
