Coffee Can Growers

I have designed a little getup for my coffee can entry that you all might find interesting.

Under the 5 gallon homer bucket is a 2 gal res that feeds the coffee can on top via a recirculating system.

Similar to what I had my Chemband in, but on a smaller scale.

Feeding the coffee can is a 70 gal/h water pump, and the overflow drains back into the res.

I was thinking those dannon or yoplait (forget which) yogurt containers that are cone shaped and wondered how that worked.

All of the server issues are just that, server issues, and they're on Vbulletin's side so it looks like we're riding it out until they fix it.

That's just my speculation from what's going on over in the Staff Section.

this happened as soon as I topped, NEVER experienced this.. is this a common mishap with topping?

I just started my 12/12 hope shes a fem, this has been an interesting 2 months veg lol
Well as they grow more they may want more food if you have a deficiency. Topping a plant wont do that but it will stress the plant a little but its good to stress them some so they can be stronger. Although I havent seen the pics, I cant see pics for some odd reason.

Anybody know what to expect for a low ph? I have some clawing going on, but I'm pretty sure it's not from an N over-dose, because it's happening to all of my plants, in all stages of life.

I tried pHing my nute water to 6.5, but had to add almost 3 TBSP of Apple Cider Vinegar as apposed to my normal 2-3 TSP
(For those of you who don't know... 3TSP = 1 TBSP) I'll go take some pics real quick and see what you guys think. I'm leaning towards a Micro over-dose, causing an NPK lockout. I've flushed the soil several times, and can't seem to shake it. Gonna try feeding them with molasses and nutes with my regular 2 TSP and see if that changes anything. I need a pH pen, these drops just aren't cutting it!

Anyone got any extra pH pen laying around??? :P

Clawing can be caused by water stress, overwatering, root bound plant or too much "N".

I have the drops too and they are pretty right on comparing to my pH meter....Are you using tap, if so it can change up on you. Thats what happened with my tap. But I would recommend some Dolimite Lime if using soil. That usually helps big time. If the pH is low it will usually show signs of burnt tips crispy and fried.

Hope that helps

The bottom growth turns yellow then brown and crumbly... Here are some pics of the clawing, I'll go take more pics of the discoloration. (I just never really know how far below 6.8 I really am with the drops ><)
