I went in to my local hobby store the a few week ago to get one of those micro ones, they were sold out, and only had the intermediate to pro style for 200+ I thought about it and figured ahhhh nope it gonna crash crash crash.

I couldn't even fly the trainer plane my dad built years ago. They are supposed to fly themselves.

Mr I Can Do That For Half
I dont know any online shops to reccomend except ebay has some good prices. The ones I played with are at like Mijiers or walmart for around $19.99 each. The big nice ones that are gas are at local hobby shops but Im scared to buy one cuz I know I will trash it. If you watch Rob and Big on MTV last episode they went and bought 2 gas copters and 3 hours later they had go back and they bought 18 more since they trashed the first 2 and knew they would need a bunch to learn lol$200 each and he droppped a few grand right there and loaded up the suburban

thats really cool. I love the links everyone has posted, and the one that ur looking at fdd should be a good start and I'm sure loads of fun. There's a video site that I go to for car videos, and it has an RC piece as well (Radio Controlled RC Cars, RC Planes, RC Boats, RC Motorcycle, RC Robots, and other Radio Controlled hobby Videos). This is sumthin I have really been thinking I might like getting involved with too.....good luck man...keep us posted! maybe we'll all be watching ur vids on utube...ahahahaha!

the coaxial (counter rotating main blades, no tail blade) style helicopters, are hands down the best to learn on. if they get out of control and you let go of the right stick they pretty much return to hover on their own. the blade cx2 is hands down the best of this type of heli. the radio system is called 'spektrum", which is on a 2.4 ghz band, and it automatically finds the clearest channel in that range and locks into it to provide interference free operation( no need to worry about jonnhys rc car taking over your signal and having a crash). If you want something a little harder to fly, but will be more fun in the long run(and capable of all the fancy moves when your ready) I would say go with a Blade Cp Pro(which has 1 main rotor, and a tail rotor. Those 2 are about the best for learning to fly and both can be flown indoors with reletive ease. anything much bigger becomes a real handful indoors. The only real downside to either heli I mentioned, is that if you take it out side on a day with anything more than the slightest breeze, you'll have your hands full. A good forum to check out rc helis is [HeliFever] Want To Know More About RC Helicopters? all the info and videos you could ever want.

That bomber is beautiful, too bad they didn't invest in 4-stroke engines. The effect of watching that would have been MUCH more realistic to the senses! I LOVE my other hobby! :)
