cloning in soil?

how do i do it? .
or is it possible to transfer the rockwool cubes over in soil? . or would it somehow cause the roots to rot ?
im only about three weeks in my first grow. and they are not ready for cloning yet. but i like to be prepared.
and know what to buy and so on

you can use rockwool cubes, soil, jiffy pellets, whatever you want really...you can transfer rockwool cubes over into soil as well...

Just make sure you follow regular cloning techniques like cutting a fresh 60 degree angle cut, scrape the sides a bit, dip in rooting hormone, etc

well if you use good rich soil to begin with(with added perlite for drainage), you don't need to use much for nutrients...the biggest thing is making sure its limed properly to keep the PH in check(also adds the needed calcium and magnesium you need)...I just use cheap 10-10-10 water soluble granules, and 2-7-7 + micronutrients cactus food

they both work the same...they have the same hormone in them...when you use a powder you dip the cutting in water then roll it in the powder...if using a gel you just roll it in the gel

some of the biggest things about cloning is keeping the root area at around 80F(using a heating pad), or you'll have issues with them making roots. Also the earlier in veg you take the clones the quicker the will make new roots

thats good. my budget is non excistent so thats sounds perfect

so in theory i could clone already to determind sex?
althoug my stem i still quite fragile?

As long as it has at least an 1/8th in diameter it will be fine to clone Just lollipop the bottom a bit and use those lower branches for your clones

I know you said your budget is lacking, but when you get some funds, look into Subcool's Super Soil. You can find sticky's on it in the Organics section. THAT is the best soil you could possibly use. Sweet, smooth smoking weed...organic, it's the best way IMO.

will definetly look into it. but im from a small european country. so not all products are that easy to get here
