Not sure why but was only able to upload 2 pics,
doesn't look like the pics are working... Bushmaster eh? niceNot sure why but was only able to upload 2 pics,
yes bushmaster will work almost too well, i wanted to keep stretching to a minimum, but it pretty much didn't stretch at all and i used about 1 1/2 mil per gallon, but anyways so you can't see my pics at all?doesn't look like the pics are working... Bushmaster eh? nice
Im excited about it because, i want to try alot of pure sativa and even sativa dominant strains.. considering the stretch on some of them it should work great as i can only grow a 4 ft maximumno pics at all... looks like you need to try again :/
That is sweet about the bushmaster... might pick some up and try it next grow
To be quite honest, I'm seeing no difference but, they are getting slight cross light between to 1000 watt hps so its tough to tell...im trying to make more room somewhere else to put the magnum all by itself but im not sure where lolLovin it Cococola36!!!!! Those buds are looking dee-lish-usss!! Are you seeing differences between the buds under the Magnum vs buds under the HPS?
Nice to see a Magnum Plus grow! I'm thinking of trying one out. It's a pretty new light so there aren't that many journals yet. I take it as a good thing that you see no difference b/w the Mag and the HPS, meaning you are pulling the same results from a 357W light (according to Magnum). Though you might want to do stand alone tests to see actual results, rather than ones where the lights are directly next to one another. To be quite honest, I'm seeing no difference but, they are getting slight cross light between to 1000 watt hps so its tough to tell...im trying to make more room somewhere else to put the magnum all by itself but im not sure where lol
I do plan on doing a seperate set up with the magnum plus by itself, tough to find a spot right now lol. They do use 3x 1 watt diodes but it was told to me it was a more efficient setup and i do not see ANY problems with penetration as my plants were 26 inch tall and 24 inches away from the tops. I agree the led's are getting better but still not quite right up there with 1000 watt hps at least in my opinion. I would def suggest the magnum plus for the price/power rangeNice to see a Magnum Plus grow! I'm thinking of trying one out. It's a pretty new light so there aren't that many journals yet. How the penetration on the Mag? I've seen pics and heard anecdotally that they are incredibly bright for a 357W light, maybe the brightest on the market. I have also heard that it not a true 3W diode, but 3x 1W stacked diodes, do you know if this is true? As long as they get good penetration, I guess it doesn't matter because 1W diodes are actually more efficient, they just don't cut through the canopy as well.
It's good to see how strongly the LED market has really picked up in the last year or two. I think aside from the initial expense, they have pretty much surpassed HID in almost every way, and will only get better as time goes on.
You can run the new magnums at 20" if the strain can take it. Lower that light an inch a day and when you start to see light stress back it off a couple of inchesyea I'm def trying to figure out that exact situation only prob is, the magnum is supposed to be at least 24" away from the canopy and the hoods with the hps I have 18" away so its tough.....how far away can i bring 1000 watt hps away from the canopy w/o losing good penetration? the hoods are cooled as it is
