i think there 4 days?.. i kinda forgot lol maybe 5 ... or nights rather.

Any how there looking nice ...but one is just not growing its still the same size it was when i started this. ..well maybe a lil bigger but the others make it look really small lol

I think it was the runt of the litter and when i burned them it just has not been able to recover + like an idiot i hit ALL of them with 1000 when i changed the lights so it just got nuked for a second time....well back to watering by hand cause there just is no way to know how much one will drink per day some are dry and some are still damp

I have all ready over watered these girls way to much . but i am trying to remember how many times i water each one so i can be on time with the feeding. its every 3rd watering right?

an update on my veggie garden just am exited to see these systems working ...there has been a few set backs . like my nft toobs were light pruning roots . so i had to wrap them in thick black plastic. but other then that nft is working nicely.

My DWC is a pain though ...working on a way to hook it all to a res so i can do ph and nute all at one time. + the water level is all ways all jacked need a gravity drain to res for over flow and a pump to buckets for level stabilization.

flood table is kinda tricky so far cause the cucumber do not like 4 floods a day at 30 mins so i am testing different flood times and such.

NFT 1 has 8 no name tomatoes and 2 beef stake tomatoes

NFT 2 is got onions/Swiss char/winter lettuce and califlower at one end and broccli on the other ;-)

DWC has 4 cucumber on the back side and 2 squash and 2 zucchini and 1 broccoli

the 2 tubs with coco core have carrots and radishes in it

have some green bell peppers and jalapeno peppers and a few more zucchini in the humidity dome #1 and some Alaska flowers in humidity dome #2

on the flood table so far i have 2 beef stake tomatoes witch i am going to experimental on lol. ... well one side is my experiments and the other is orange bell peppers.

soo i am working on a 2nd DWC for all the extra plants and plane on making it a seedling/clone/veg set up so when all the others are fruiting i can have these getting ready to replace them once there all fruited out.

any way that is were i am at with my veggies...boy wouldn't that be some thing if these systems where filled with the chronic?

probaly could pull Like 10 ponds every 3 months with it  sigh i can dream cant i ?

my only real snag is i have to Manuely tern on and of the fan to vent ...i really need a therastat cause i really cant leave for long cause it wants to be 90 degrees with fan off and when the fans all ways on it wants to be 60 degrees

Not sure if i even need an intake fan cause the passive flow seems vary good and where it comes in is next to the winter lettuce and there a cold season plant so its kinda working out good the tomato side of the room is average 5-10 degrees warmer.

ok here is my DWC Automatic.

Basically it pumps water into the 10 buckets and then drains out at water level (just a hair over the basket line. That is my mondo air pump dealing massive bubbles in each bucket. i covered each bucket top with some black plastic to stop any light or growth.
DSCN0728.jpgDSCN0725.jpgDSCN0726.jpgDSCN0727.jpg
So anyways I have the pump running and in poor's into the vary shallow res the pump cannot take in any water passed the line. But all this is auto stirring my add ins like ph adjustment and nute's so I take One of the plants out and do ph tests from there and just add a lil ph down when needed then ph the bucket. Every so often I will change witch bucket I check to make sure its even. but so far its doing it nicely.

soo no more stirring and all that I am sure its going to be a pain in the ass to clean though lol ..got to be a down side to everything.

I was able to fix all the leakyness so far with this stuff food safe water weld :-PDSCN0729.jpg
after my second feeding for the girls here is what there look like :weed:DSCN0730.jpgDSCN0731.jpgDSCN0732.jpgDSCN0733.jpg

hay man how do I stop this slime in my DWC? I thought the aeration would make it less likly but I am still getting brown and slimy roots in some of them is it the tea?

I only have worm castings brewed for 24 hours with aeration and added like a gallon into it.

am I going to need some of that (good bacteria) powder stuff to add to the tea?

Yah i think.your gunna have to step up the strength of the tea ugg! A bottle of great white is 40 bucks, whats the
Water temp of your res? Doing this tea cheap might not be a option, il look into a additive for you.

Is it just in the dwc setup?
