well here is an update.
i think the yellowing is going away
temps are better too.
these are some of the coll'a. camera ran out of battery's before i got them all.
to me they look good but there just short there like 2 feet just thought they would be taller.
well all the mistakes i made and the learning curve i guess it could be a lot worse Lol.
i have compiled a list of mistakes i made and what ill try to do better next time
(1) Over watering : all though coco coir is not easy to water properly. all that burning that happened and they needed flushing ended up lots of over watering mold and fruit flys
(2) over fertilization : maxi was high strength and a kinda solid so by the time it was dissolved it was higher ppm then i knew + the plants were to small for 1000 at the time. i all sow did not have a ppm rod at this time.
(3) drip system on coco coir: this was no good it ended up spraying up in the leafs and burning them with nutes just a lil bit of coir stuck in the lil holes and the pressure = all over the f ing place.
(4)a switch of nutes : the switch of nutes was for the best cause i could not get the right amount with maxi in the coir so i switched to flora nova this was good far a bit
(5) under fertilization : they should have been feed with the new nutes more cause it was a liquid formula so i guess i ended up flushing/req watering 3 times when it needed to be full strength resulting in mass yellowing of leafs.
(6) being unsure of my PH) all though i had the PH at 5.8-6.1 every time i watered in the coco coir i cant help but wonder if the ph was all ways right. ( do not have a soil PH meter)
(7) i think my light was to low a few times and to high a few times adjusting it many times makes me feel i messed up the environment a few times maybe causing stress and perhaps light burn.
(
until i had inline fan and thermostat the plants were in 80+ degrees and a few times 90
this had to be part of the over all grow stress.
(9) passive flow in night time fills the tent with cool air ranging from 49-55 degrees in so i guess i need to get a air duct valve on a thermostat to fix this.
(10) need bigger POTs the root mass is to small to support plants to large size going to need 2 gallon pots next time or maybe 3 to 5 gallon. I think it would be well worth the medium to fill them they really just need to have unlimited space for roots. The one's I have are pritty much root bound.
