About a year ago I hooked up with a home builder and started hot shotting materials to different job sites, now I do it for 3 guys and they keep me as busy as I want to be. Before that I managed an automotive parts warehouse for 20+ years.
 
Uhhh, I am an at home mom...or rather an unemployed married woman with children...or perhaps I am a live in nanny to my husband---that he can have sex with...lol. Whatever, I don't work...
 
I used to be a butcher and fish monger, now I run a kitchen for a delicatessen. Due to the way our government works, the only way i am able to get full time hours at work is to be self employed, this means that work do not have to fork out hundreds of pounds each month for PAYE costs and NI etc. So as a result i get to work full time, but i do not get a single days sick pay, a single days paid holliday, so despite paying all my taxes, i now lose out on 4 weeks of paid holiday and a week of paid sick leave, no paid lunch breaks either. Sucks!
 
RETIRED @ 46 .. I did ok before the economy crash.:peace:
Now I'm 51 and still RETIRED
But, the truth is I'm starting to get really bored.

I try as much as possible not to delude myself :lol: I'm no chef...lol Lately though, since I've been making more pot laced goodies, it has me baking more than I have before, and I think I really like it. I'm starting to think about going to become a Patisserie (Pastry Chef).
So you're a Garde Manger? Do you at least have a job that lets you express yourself, or is it all stamped out the way the corporate guy who's never cooked a meal in his/her life wants it?

was mostly self employed, construction, roofing.. now I puke every time i look at a hammer, so ya still looking for the job thatll pay me to get high....

Would like to open a shop and turn wrenches again.
