Questions about pro-mix and biocanna run and using amendments

I can see it being a little bit heavier than that with an RO base soil. I had forgot that we talked about that. I have some perlite on hand, how much do you recommend using, like a gal or so?
I'd still add 20% by volume, but I know you're going toward a different goal. Maybe 10% to start and see how they go...

I think adding 2 gallons of it wouldn't be bad.
At least, if not more.

My motto is, If it looks like there is too much, it's just right.

After you run out, drop the Ancient Forest. Basically overpriced peat moss. The peat moss from Premier (makers of ProMix) has been shown to have more micro life than the Ancient Forest. You would do just as well, if not better, adding more ProMix.

We'll get to recycle/re amendment in a bit.

No shit? Where'd you find that info? I don't doubt you, but do you happen to have a link? I use the stuff and to me it seems like it helps a lot. When I first got it I top dressed a couple plants in veg with a little bit and white fuzzy roots grew straight up through it to the surface in about two days, that alone seemed enough for me.

Here ya go. You'll need to search for *tests* and stuff, my link fu just isn't that good, but the pictures are a real eye opener.

Wow, I actually started reading that several months ago but never finished it. Time for some more comparisons...

That little bit with the peat moss and ancient forest really opened a lot of eyes, especially some long time users.
