2 way split.
400w MH for flowering
200 MH for vegging or stick with cfl's I've been using in the small cabinet.
I'll use vegging room for seedling as well.
I also have a phototron for a mother plant (never used it, but need to find a use for it.
I'm too new to start scrog.
Maybe next grow.

Remove the paper bag from the window. Make sure its locked, install some sort of 'blinds' (preferably ones that match the other blinds in your house) then reseal it with black/white poly. The black side facing the window, the white facing your grow.

Even if your 100% legal someone is going to notice the 'Jesus' light coming from that room.

Other than that, looks good! Good Luck!

Sorry yeah i was assuming you were lining the whole room with total blackout or a simalar light blocking product and also assuming you have all your enviroment control in place , inline fan , extraction etc and you have just started out with alot to do ? am i correct ?

Also , Scrog is not only for experts , but does take some research , lots of reading for scrog growers on RIU ,

are you flowering with a MH bulb for a reason ??

I cant tell if you have added the insulation or removed it?

If your walls are not up yet get an electrician in there to drop you another line on a different/new 20amp breaker. You will be surprised how fast those amps start to add up. haha

Good Luck

I'm flowering with MH b/c thats what I have, hope it doesn't make much difference.
Yeah I have a lot to do but I'll get there. Most of the material I have, it's just finding the time.
I have kids so it can be tough.

Well you have the knowledge and the space , so all i can say is good luck man , wish i knew a covert sparky (hard to find) , on the Mh bulb , there are many arguments that mh for vegg , sodium for flower , a mix of both etc , all i do know though for sure is that when using single bulbs , spectrum of light not considered, sodiums produce more Lumens even if the wattage of the 2 bulbs are the same....

agreed with clonex.. another good pece of advice, on to the tune of about 30,000 lumens.. =) i switch between both mh for veg and hps hortilux, its more expensive, but have done a side by side with a ushio and it put up nearly 2x bigger berries, its really easy to switch with a digital ballast.. with your space dr.. i believe you would be much more suited to run a 600flower and 400 for veg, but if then again you could run a 1k on a 6ft rail, it would rock in that room perfect footprint.. it would be a chore to get in the back to water, also some peole say it isnt good for a rail, but im able to run it waaay closer than most/ maximize my area 100% better to have the light move IN MY OPINION.. =)

ya bro, the rails are idiot proof it was only 3-4 peices, but the aluminum track seemed weak, so i mounted it to a board now i can just dismount it from the roof easily and not mess up the aluminum track.... (for me), im getting a decent 6x6 footprint AND am able to keep my light 12-15 INCHES from the top canopy WITHOUT A/C I COULD GO CLOSER, BUT i lose out on footprint size... my room is 8x8 with a walkway on each edge

The light will be attached to a pulley system in order to control height.

haha na i went home..
to dr brain.. im not talking about moving the light up and down, i do that as well, the lightmover we are talking about is a track similar to a toy train track that an electric motor/roller rolls back and forth on (linear movement) i really like it i will be getting another motor when i get another light and ill use both my 3.5 ft tracks for 2 separate 1k's instead of my 7 ft rail and 1k cause the rail splits in two

clonex, that one actually looks much better built (sturdier) than what i have, my motor isnt incased like that, and to me it looks like those posts are stationary, mine are adjustable, wich helps cause i don use my whole 7 ft of track anyways... but ya never really know with pics from the net and you cooky uk folks
