Hey folks!
On January 4th, the new session of the legislature begins here in Maine. MMCM (Medical Marijuana Caregivers of Maine) is planning to have as many registered patients & caregivers at the opening of the legislature as possible to show support for our medical cannabis legislation and show that we all are here and want to be included in the things like rulemaking, etc. Remember, the rules have not been set for LD1296 yet. We still have public hearings to go through and that is where we can make things be heard.
If you're interested, keep an eye on this thread as I'll post up the time and place that patients and CGs will be meeting on January 4 at the state house. Probably in the hall of flags, I would guess, but I'm not certain.
Also, on February 1 from 8:45am-1pm MMCM will be renting out the hall of flags and showing support for medical cannabis and working to get legislators involved and engaged and keep it at the forefront of their minds. I hope to see folks at both events!
