I was jus wondering how long i should germinate my seeds for.
What is this, some kind of trick question?
You germinate them until they sprout.
I'd say if you've kept them in the appropriate moist dark environment and they haven't sprouted after two weeks its about 99.9% likely that they won't and you can figure they're not viable.
If the question is when do you PLANT them after germination, that's a different thing. If you germ them directly into soil, you won't have to transplant them, and I think that's one of the best ways to do it, so long as you use the right soil, and make sure it doesn't dry out.
If you're using a paper towel, or such, you can wait until the roots around an inch long.
