Yep. Congrats guys. Ron Paul is now the Iowa front runner, and he's got the best organization in Iowa so he's very likely to keep that lead. If he wins in Iowa, he's in this for real.

huckabee won iowa last time. mccain finished in third. but them mccain went on to win NH and more.
a paul win in iowa, which i predict will not happen, will be followed by a romney trouncing in NH and likely SC and FL. or newt gingich will prevail there. or huntsman may have a surprising performance in NH. he is the one most clearly trending up.
ron paul stands not a chance in hell. all the kingmakers are coronating romney. the more we learn about ron paul, the less we like him (we being "the general electorate").

If Ron Paul wins Iowa that definitely doesn't mean he'll win the election. It does mean he's a front runner and has a legitimate shot at winning.
This is one of the lowest quality groups of republican candidates of all time. None of these guys are even as good as McCain. These are the type of candidates run when think they can't win the election. Because of that, Ron Paul's chances are actually extremely good. Newt Gingrich is HATED by mainstream America and Mitt Romney is simply not trustworthy even to the gullible republican base. Ron Paul is an extremist when it comes to the economy, he's anti-government, he's anti-poor people, he's prolife, and he's the only guy who doesn't flip flop. All those things are exactly what republicans want. He definitely does have a chance.

In a normal election that would be true. But in this election all the potential top tier candidates stayed out of the race. All the republican voters are left with is a bunch of candidates they have serious disagreements with.
Newt is very vulnerable due to his lobbying and over inflated ego. Romney scares the hell out of them because his simply isn't trustworthy. All things considered Ron Paul's negatives probably aren't as bad as the other candidates.
He can most definitely win the primary at this point.

Just tossed another RP copper bullion to a Dr I met today. Told her to check him out. After I tossed her the coin, she spent 5-10 minutes listening to what he has in store for America if elected. She seemed to take in and accept what I had to say. Cheap buy in my opinion. 1.60 worth of copper for 10 minutes to sway a vote who has not heard much about the man because of the media black out. My Butcher gets one tomorrow as I only buy grass fed beef from one source. Kinda of Loyal I guess.
