Well, it beats paintbooth, haha. I am sure there are those out there that still develop film....but yeah, that excuse doens't work as well as it did 10 years ago.

you should have told him its your grow room and left it at that. if he asked what you were growing say tomato's.
there are actually alot of indoor gardening enthusiasts that grow veggies indoor in similar systems we grow our Mj in. me being one of them.

they shut me off two years ago in winter and thats the room they go to when turning it back on. damn good tip for all. 
LOL While that is funny if you're just nice throw an off hand remark, such as paint booth, which is stellar in my opinion, they go away and think nothing more. If you act like a snot they can feel irritated then call the EPA about your 'paint booth' and you get to explain, or code enforcement cause you are to close to a fence/gas line entry site etc.......... Don't piss off the bureaucrats they know far to many agencies to call to screw with you.

The point was, what box? I just didn't get what he meant, is he growing in a plywood box right next to his meter? (outside) How would he see a grow if it's an inside grow?
Edit: Oh I see ! All I've ever seen is outside meters, so I didn't get it.

the box is in the basement, on the other side of the basement is my heater and gas line into the house, where now there is a law that they have to inspect the lines before reconnect can happen, i killed the light and fans but a 3x3x7ft enclosed box with a door and locks and exhaust tube ducting hanging out. is very hard to hide and a paint booth is the quickest thing i could think of seeing i had my motor cycle tank and fenders lying down there in primer..... it worked as she didnt ask no more... lmao
