Vortex inline fan

Hello every one, I'm looking for some advice on the vortex 6" inline fan. I have done research about inline fans and everybody tells me there the best brand but I wanna know if any one had any experiences with them or problems. My flowering room has 2 1000 watt hps lights and I want another but I need to know about this fan if drastically cuts down the temp. Both my lights are in 6 inch vented hoods both connected to a small exhaust fan and temps stay around highs 70s and lower 80s.

I run a vortex 6" inline to air cool 3 1000's. They are in a straight line though, I don't know if any splitting or other directional changes will affect it.

It's loud as hell like all inlines. I built a 2x4 frame, put drywall around that except for the bottom, put a pile of insulation on the bottom, placed the fan in, and surrounded it with a ton of insulation, closed it up, and boom......took at least 80% of the sound away.

I have a hydrofarm inline fan and it sucks, real quiet but it doesn't move enough air. my glass gets hot I only have it hooked up to 1, 1000w its over 400 cfm also I need more power than that.

the glass will get hot unless the air going through it is like 45 degrees or unless you run 600s or 400s and if you do run those then id be running cooler air through the hoods

I can touch my glass right under the lamps after they're been on for hours and hours. Not a single leaf has ever been burned no matter how close the lights. Something is wrong if you can't. Like I said, mine are 1000's and zero problems with cooling them.

Just sayin'..........

I have one, can't tell the difference between it and the cheaper ones. I haven't done any tests, there may be a difference, but the cheap ones are working fine for me.

i run 2, 6 inch vortex's. one is dedicated for my 600 w sealed hood. the other runs my scrubber. both are inside my cab and even thou the walls are at least 6 inches thick with insulation, you can still hear a hum from the outside. the vortex on my scrubber has a speed control on it, and even running at about half speed its still audible.
