It kills me to watch guys like my roommate chase these women who will never give them a chance. He just follows her around like a sad puppy but gets nothing out of it but friend status.

It might just be me, but I feel like if a woman doesn't show any interest whats the point of being here friend?

So she can cry to you about all of her problems and you can agree that men are jerks and blah blah blah.

Its like he "puts pussy on a pedestal"

I just assume be a dick to girls I dont have a chance with. I could careless to hear about their problems, i got problems of my own.

What do you guys and gals think?

We don't need to lie to ourselves, women love the attention...You know they like to feel loved or needed or wanted...Maybe she's keeping him around for when someone takes a dump on her, and when she's feeling really shitty, she can hit up your boy for a quick Ego Boost.

I don't see where the girl is being deceitful. As long as you're not being used, it's completely your choice if you want to chase your dream girl. :p Let your buddy try. I'll chase the woman I love for the rest of my life, and it wont be a wasted life. ;)

everyone in this story sounds young.........i'm so jealous. sounds like you guys just want some ass, so why do women owe you any sincerity? your friend CHOOSES to chase these women........he needs it. everything is a choice. *sigh*.....kids.

I have alot of female friends that I don't hangout with just cause I want them to tough my dingy lol

That wasn't the point. But if you really want to be with someone and they act like its gonna happen and it never will. What is the point. If feelings aren't mutual why chase them?

thrill of the chase? i'd rather land one hottie out of my league, than 10 in my league...

I think the issues is that your buddy thinks he has a chance, when he doesn't. Self delusion is common.

Example my buddy invited this chick over to a party at my place. He actually invited two girls he was trying to get with (which he has no chance with either) and he ended up getting in a fight with one and left with the other one. He left with the one and just slept at her house got nothing.

The other girl ended up in my bed and I didn't even know her, really I hadn't said one word to her till the point she jumped in my bed out of no where. Needless to say I banged her.

He was mad at me for like two weeks about that. I told him what was up. Then this chick still leads him on all the time. Its like pay back or something idk

Balzac, i'm confused. In the first post you said "shows no interest". Above you say "act like it's gonna happen", which would be hard to do while showing no interest. In the first post the picture was of a chick who couldn't care less. But now it sounds like she's leading him on ... which would indeed be deceitful. But the two posts contradict each other if I'm reading them right ... of course i am probably overanalyzing. I must go and sculpt my next inspiration for the latest Poop thread. (No hands.) cn

LOL The reasons different for everybody man. Some may actually get pleasure from the rejection, someone might get a thrill from the 'chase'. Ask yourself what would make you want to devote yourself to one woman endlessly. :)

Having female friends is allright but if you like a girl and she aint lettin you smash it,you got to move on to another that will.A woman knows in the first 20 minutes of meeting you if she will let you bang or not!
