Starting a Medible Company?

So this is an idea I've been kinda fooling around with in my head for a while.

So first Backround info:
-Love coooking, always have.
-Love marijuana Always have.

WHEW, got that out the way, I finally think I've found my niche, making Medibles, this goes from sweets to actual foods, I would love to do this as a legitimate buisness. (this would be don in Socal)

Has anyone attempted this? or know how vending edibles to clinics work? or even the scale to get started.

A lot of dispensaries in Southern California carry edibles, and most are pretty good. I think there is a market waiting to be opened in the non-sweet aspect of food though. Green butter is about the only thing I've been able to buy that I can use in regular cooking. You definitely have to have your cooking areas inspected by county health inspectors or you could rent night time cooking space at a local bakery or restaurant. You also need to get a food handlers license.

The dispensaries would be more than happy to take your goods on consignment, and there's a good chance that most of them will require you to supply the refrigeration unit that they will be displayed in. If you do all that, let us know and I will be the first in line to buy a Bubba Kush burrito.

edit: Also, please make certain your potency is consistent. I bought a M&M's brownie that I had eaten before, only this batch felt like a bad coke trip.

similar to something ive been wanting to do.

I'd like to open a restaurant where something on every dish (if not all) has some form of marijuana. Within this i would have the "smoke room" which would be similar to a club/bar where you can go into while waiting on your food to smoke your personal stash or buy from the "bar tender" a gram at a time...

This would be awesome, I've also tinkered with the idea, but soon realized at the point we are right now it's impossible to have that kind of establishment w/o problems. Till marijuana is a bit more legalized to completely legalized over here will we be able to open such a buisness.
