Light cycle uncertainties.

what is the best light regiment after the plants get out of veg. I've had the at 14/10 for 1 week. If it could be more hours with lights on, is it too late to add more hours of light i.e. 24/0 or 18/16.? any feedback is appreciated.

i went from 18 hours to 12 and left em, but i heard from someone to give em a few days of 6 hours to get them to aclimatise to blooming quicker. takes mine couple weeks to adjust to 12/12. i'll be trying the 6 hour thing next grow

You should do a little research before growing this is good,
It's what works for you but in veg you have to have at
least 18 hours of light but a lot of growers grow 24/7
in veg but I found it's just as good to use 18/6 and save
some juice then you do 12/12 in flowering.

Don't forget to use a timer or you'll get hermie's
if you just plug it in and out whenever you feel like it!

24/0 is fantastic for autoflowering plants, photo's do need the rest, but even with 24/0 the growth is not and extra 25% so its not really proportionate to the extra hours of light

My last grow i did this, but with my current grow it is going to stay in for a little longer....like around 55hrs. Do the same at the end when ready to harvest and your buds should plump up nicely
buds dont fatten up in the dark, the myth is that u get extra trichs or resin but thats bollocks. ur better off reducing the light than leaving them in total darkness. actual risk of them goin hermie in total darkness at the start of 12/12.

stop posting shit!

Not really........plant have to have a dark period to focus on root production the better the rooting system generally means youll have bigger healthier plant...autos's have to develope roots quickly during their vegging period.....so 24/0 wont allow your girls to develope properly....it works .......... but not great at all.....id reccemend 18/6 ..........

it was autoflower.net i used as research for when i was growing my auto's, its pretty much a general consensus round there. i think ur pretty much agreeing with me anyway, i've said that the growth u get from 24/0 isn't worth it, probably down to the roots, as you suggested.

have you grown a lot of auto's? spoken to a lot of people who have?

i'm not saying my word is final by any means but there is an entire forum of people dedicated to growing autos that'll say similar to me based on their experiences too

yeah bro i see what your saying ...and i agree to an extent....it works but the idea is to optimize your grow that the diffrence between an ametuer and a grower...not talking about you ...in general................24/0 dosent give your girlz the time the need in my opnion....but yes ive done a couple....i have friendz who do soley auto growz..........i prefer certin genetic you cant get in autos
