Like all laws in Michigan, it will be interpreted differently by each and every judge, cop, prosecutor, and juror. Nearly 70% of voters passed the law, take everything to jury trial!!
It is refreshing to see that one of the judges got it right.

Everyone should copy this just in case. everyone in this country is created equal so this document can be used for anyone in michigan.you cant give rites to one guy and deny rites to another. If you ever have a problem with a similar case you should be able to present this case to a judge and get the charges dropped.

no you are right. but if there is no appeal the next case subject can use this to help his case. thus possibly making it precedent. and if the mi supreme court refused to hear an appeal on this case would make it precedent.

Each judge? Every cop, judge, prosecutor. Our courts have no rhyme or reason. Some hate drunk driving, some hate thieves. One court will send a guy to prison on his second or third drunk driving, then a child molester gets probation. You yell at a woman and you go to jail, but a woman can trash your house and then the cops kick YOU out. lol. Murder probably averages 10 years and the dude in Chicago that tried to sell Obamas seat gets 15 years? WTF? Mandatory Minimums for cocaine, but not child molestors? huh? Going in front of any judge is a crap shoot for anything! Any medical marijuana case should go to jury trial!!!!!! We are safer trusting twelve strangers.

ya everybody is different but the judge sentences you a cop can arrest you for it but cant do anything beyond that thats why i only said judge

If the State Supreme court refuses to hear the case then that would pretty much make it precedent, this can be a so called "test case" and it blew up in the prosecutors faces!!!
