I just bought a glass extraction tube off of ebay for $29.99. It's a small one only holding 10 grams, and I bought 3 cans of colibri butane for $16.00 on ebay too. I'm still waiting to get them and try it out.

of most importance is that you perform this extraction outside. you bought the best canned gas (colibri) so thats a good start. grounding your pyrex dish and tube are great ideas as this is static season across the US.

to be honest...i look at the comment i made a couple weeks ago about BHO not being a "big deal" or whatever, and have since read about atleast 3 cases of people "blowing themselves up", plz b safe, and do your BHO runs outside...

sick real life shit here. ive been in/out of working for dispensaries for the past few years. when a burnt up patient comes in, 95% of the time its a bho explosion.
in this case marijuana is the cause and cure. eff.

What's the MSDS sheet say for Power 7x Butane? I usually get Vector, but now they only carrying 5x and 7x power brand. Anyone know if this contains higher amounts of Iso-Butane?

doesnt really matter. n-butane and iso-butane are isomers, and act similarly, its the 20% propane in the cans that you could do without. on top of that its the torch lube that is added to the cans that you could really do without.
I have a friend doing a mirror test on vector, power 5x and power 7x. ill post his results in this forum.

I thought n-butane was better than iso-butane? And I thought colibri was the one with 20% propane...gues I'm thinking wrong.

i can get 5x for a decent price from a private vendor, normally you pay alot for good butane and i do not recomend anything less than 5x...anything less and your experience will not be that enjoyable....now you can make it as easy as you want it to be in terms of extractor material, but what i found is that in the end your going to want maximum return from the bud you use.....and the best way is to go with high pressure tubing and i have a small 1/4in tubing 10in long for small little trial batches that hold 3gr of bud and i get almost half back in weight(depending on the strain used)...i use as big as 2in steel tubing that 2ft long when im processing a 1lb of shake or trim...and i can get back 45-55 grams from 1lb with using 2cases and 2 cans of butane...if you would like to know more just message me and i could explain in detail
