Got a plant, don't really now what it is. Just have it in some soil, two weeks. My friend gave me a gallon of some dark colored nutrient water, take it outside to let the sun hit it since morning to night, then bring it in at night (when I remember) because it get 50 f here at night 70 during the day.

sounds like your not really trying. Your sure to hit a snag sooner or later if your trying to grow with no research or time invested. Thats unfortunate that you dont know what type of soil it is. just keep watering it only when the soil is getting quite dry and as you go along look at the plant for signs of deficiencies as you may have to correct for this as the plant grows. read up on plant deficiencies and be prepared for them if they come along.

Watched the video yesterday, alot of useful info, *I also been reading some other posts and this is why I am not watering it twice a day anymore. The plant is now like 8" tall two of the lower leafs have turned yellow at the tips and one looks ripped, but they have been like that for a while. *All other leaves are looking healthy and even the ones that were once started to dry at the tip and turn yellow are looking healthier too.*
