Percentage of shitty strains out there?

So I've must have read a few million pages on seeds/strains/etc. One thing for sure, there's a lot shit out there. What percentage of strains out there do you think are actually worth growing? 5%? Makes choosing a real challenge.

I wish there were a few thousand less strains, just give us 20-30 good ones. WTF!

i think its a matter of shitty pheno's. i think almost everything is worth growing if you have the time/space but some people have ethics and clears lines drawn in the sand when it comes to respect (myself included), some people it takes one batch of bad seeds to swear them off of a breeder forever.

and to the OP it is personal preference for what makes a great or shitty strain... for me anything that tastes like pine is shitty, it could have the best high in the world but if it tastes like pine I'll only smoke it if I can't find anything else. I would rather have a plant with half the yield and potency that didn't taste like pine...

There are tons of good strains out there.
If you stick to breeders with good reputations, and stick to strains that are tried and true, you won't have problems.
