If you are planning to use clones in hydroponics system would it be recommended to grow the Mothers using hydroponics as well?

Depending on how often and how many clones you plan to take I'd put them in soil. Won't die quickly if an air pump or water pump fails like hydro.

If you were keeping mothers in hydro I'd recommend something like a drip or ebb&flow.
Mothers in DWC or aero would die too quickly in case of a power failure.

If you cant do ebb or a drip, I'd go soil.

I grow mothers in Dirt for Hydro and dirt, same plants. Only thing I do different is use Rapid rooters for the Hydro clones. When using rock wool for Hydro the rock wool cubes held a lot of water. The young the clone showed signs over watering stress. Happened 3 time. Since changed to Rapid rooter the problem is gone. Still use rock wool for dirt clones
