A very fair thing to do IMO. Obama signed the bill to extend it into law therefor he is responsible for it currently. It is now his policy.

I'm not one who blames Obama for everything Bush did, but it is his signature on the law, so he is the one who is responsible for it. If he vetoed it and congress over rid it, then it would not be his fault, but that isn't what happened. A president is ultimately responsible for every bill he signs into law.

You're right, and the one thing I respect about Obama is he kept his promise to close that filthy place called Guantanamo Bay. Obama despises torture so much, he personally pushed the button during its demolition ceremony. I concede, I have no proof and I'm just a crazy hateful person. Ron Paul has always said he had nothing to do with the day to day operation of the newsletter. He was out of politics and practicing medicine. The newsletter had changed hands. He did take a moral responsibility for not paying better attention for something going out in his name.

Well, tbh I don't read their articles, so maybe those contain bias, I don't really know, but their statistical data tends to be accurate.

Where do you prefer to get your "wire feed" for the latest and greatest? Tbh, my FB feed, with as many activist friends as i have on it, is pretty competitive for speed of reporting but not always accuracy lol.

TBH it doesn't really matter to me. I keep random news on in the background muted while I trim, make concentrates, etc. All news outlets for the most part seem to cover the same stories. So I'll just kind of pay attention to the headlines, turning the channel if I see anything about someone like Lindsey Lohan. Then if I see a story that interests me, I google search and skim over various results. If it interests me beyond that I'll either try and find their source data, or google phrases in their articles I want to know more about. Then on particular issues, I'll just look em up all the time. I like to follow poll results.

So I guess google would be my main wire feed. I occasionally watch Rachael Maddow and Fareed Zakaria as I consider then to be the only tv journalists with original content. I get most of my information by being curious about something, then googling it. I don't really have any trusted news sources.

IDK if that's the most awesome way to get information or not, but it works for me. When I do want to know about something, I read extensively on that topic from as many sources as I can. Sure beats the hell out of just watching/reading one source. Although it can be somewhat limiting as in sometimes I do not consider topics that are not being discussed. But I feel like I'm as informed as anyone else.

Ok. But none of that shows any proof that Obama is waterboarding. As far as I'm aware there is no information to suggest that is true. That's what I'm objecting to. People just saying something that's outright false and everyone just accepting it as a fact. I know it's a small detail, but the devil is in the details. I'm fine with blaming him for stuff he actually did, it's the make believe I have a problem with.

If everyone could stick with what's real and keep away from convenient embellishments, we'd all be better off IMO.
