so your using all that with one bubbler? it depends what ratings the pump on the chiller, i pump my water at about 17 -20 circulations a hour and have a waterfall in each pot, thats were my DO comes from, but if ur chiller with a 2ft drop is running constant that should create enough DO for it as long as your recirculaiting or in your case flodding enough, throw some pics up i cant imagine how your growing lol

yeah i dunno if i could run this set up without a chiller in summer its 0 deg here most of the time just now and i find mine in the 20s at times! im sure il find a way though :)

pump on the chiller is 800 gph, I run two air pumps, one in the main res and one in the room running the coolers and buckets, I also have water pumps spraying so its not true dwc its a hybrid of aero/nft/dwc and rdwc kinda I guess, fuck if I know.

55 gallon res , I've got one 5 gallon bucket and two 70 quart igloos plus the 7 gallon control bucket, if I were to set it up like I wanted it I'd have to add more igloos AND another 55 gal res, I'm just gonna run it the way it was meant next time, ebb and flow with dyna gro roks in 5 gallon buckets. The 800 gph pump came with the chiller, its half horse (much overkill) but wtf.

better oevr kill than underkill mate, im unfamilliar with these igloos, is the system u describe basicly a multiflow system type?

jjust on my way to hydro store as these fuckers are eating about 2.0 EC a day at the mo and drinking 40l of water lol going to try and lst them a bit until fri then 12/12 time :)

thats me put them onto 12/12 today, i couldnt wait any longer and im scared of over growth in the tent they are half trees already n if they double in size il be lucky to have 20cm between them and the air coolled hoods :(

i have it all here mate on the computer but the only thing is i need to use the basic uploader and do one image at a time lol thats y i only do 4 at a time or so on here but i will do it this week cos theres a few been asking ok mate cheers for popping in, now


day 2 of flower theyve already taken the space up i made for them to do there thing, ive added a oil filled radiator for the 12 off period as temps were droppin to 10deg and we cant have that i want my temps to be within 5 deg lights on and off so they dont stress out and stretch and i het big fat donkey cock buds :) hopefully no rot this time though, only on one bud i got it last run in normal dwc but it was a 25 gram bone dry cola after i cut the rot out god knows what it would have weighed hadnt the rot got it!!

room temps 25-28deg
rh - 40-70%
rs temp 16 lights off 18-20 lights on (dont fear that as hiesenberg hooked me up with that tea!!)
EC still kept at 1.0 but there eating it down to 0.8 when i top it back up to 1.0 within days,
ph set at 5.8 and let to drift for 1 or 2 days then reset!

notice the half leaves which were obviously the groth tip leaves were i fimmed them! now adults with half arms and legs, sorry guys!!

Man sweet system I just read over the thread, looking fantastic. For some odd reason this is the first time I have seen the waterfalls used in the dwc systems. I really like that idea over airstones. From going through a couple pages man you have some great progress in your plants from the first pics to the last ones that you have posted. Hopefully they arent going to strech on you for much longer.

Thats a very nice system your running there m8, cant wait till i can run one similair myself, im very interested in this idea of losing the stones for a waterfall effect instead, i run 2 single waterfarms at the moment and ive been looking at adding a controller res and recircing them for a while but havent got the space yet, so instead just for now ive been thinking about just modding the airlift pump on each seperate unit by removing the dripper column and adding airline to the bottom of the airlift pump instead of the top to speed up and stabilize the waterflow better, so it then falls through the pebbles for the waterfall effect. im just not sure it'll add enough DO because falling through pebbles with a 1-2" drop to the res isnt exactly the same as a 12" waterfall in terms of creating DO is it? what do you think sqydro?

It seems youre well on with a hybrid of the 2 idea's ive been thinking about here, looks like your system is going to perform very well indeed, congrats :-P im very interested to hear about the DO readings. Ive also been looking at growing in lava rocks as ive heared its better for the bene's which im also finding are brilliant at what they do and im also able to run res temps about 18-20c because of the benes and the roots seem to love it compared to previous grows with sterile res and lower res temps.

Keep us posted fella. wanna see how this turns out.

yeah definately a better and more efficient way guys, thanks for the comments, and linking ur farms and having a control res is the way forward mate for sure!!!

here they are day 11 of flower not much changed theyve doubled in size ive had to supercrop one cos she was gettin out line i only have a foot or so of head room...... anyway al let the pics do the talkin!!









have a good new year folks hopefully some buds for you next update!!
