do you know the ingredients in that purple max stuff? I wish I could get those colours in organic supersoil! there must be a way!! Nice grow, nice pics, Merry Christmas!
I'm not sure what they put in Purple Maxx. I tried it on my plants solely based on stories I heard from friends and other growers. Whatever is in it works. It's really strong though so take caution so you don't burn your plants.
nice grow and thanks for sharing all your info! Im running canna bitoerra and canna bionutes, Im about to start bloom what should I add to the canna flores and boost? I have the pk 13/14, thrive alive b-1, org cal mag, technaflora humic acid, and there seaweed feed as well. but didnt know if theres anything else? Im also using canna bio nutes with soiless mix would the feeding be the same as the bioterra soil?
thanks man
From the day I switch to 12/12 I like to give my plants Open Sesame from FF or Bud Blood from AN to initiate early flowering. During the first couple weeks I feed them my base nutes 6ml/gal, open sesame 1/2 tsp/gal, thrive alive 12ml/gal, calmag 5ml/gal, humic acid 8ml/gal, protekt 2ml/gal, hygrozyme 8ml/gal, and roots excelurator 1ml/gal. I also add 5 scoops per 10 gallons of great white mycorrhizae once or twice a week until 2 weeks before harvest. I use diamond nectar humic acid instead of technaflora so application rates might differ on those products. I used to use boost but the cost to ratio output didn't make it worth while to keep in my rotation. I did controlled tests and saw some improvement but I was spending over $1000 per grow just on boost and it wasn't worth it. I only used the canna coco line so I can't comment on their bio/bioterra lineup.
I have 4 tents: a 4x4 for veg, a 3x3 for clones, and two 4x8 for flowering. I have a natural gas line running right through the room would a co2 generator be worth hookin up and how much would the start up cost be to feed those tents?
You are going to see the best response from co2 in your flowering room. Unless you have a crazy budget I wouldn't add them to your clone and veg tents because of the cost/effect ration. I honestly can't say what your start up costs would be. Find the cubic feet of your flowering tents and find a co2 burner that matches up with the specs. Then it's up to you doing research in the burners spec sheets to find out the rates of co2 used and multiply that buy the cost of gas added to the costs of the unit. If your room exhaust is passive you don't want to use co2 as it will be exhausted as it's made and you'll be wasting money.
