Once they pop, id put them in rock wool. You can get it super cheap and then put them in the sun. Keep the rock wool damp and then once they pop out of the rock wool and start to show small leaves (another few days after the seeds have germed), plant the rock wool in soil and put them under your light.

put them beans in pre moistened soil do not put the seed in the soil then wet it, as it will flush the seed down and delay its growth...

you should know what depth to put them by now after your first grow...;)

put them right under the light 18/6 cycle or whatever veg lighting cycle floats your boat ;)

im presuming the 200watter is a fluoro so you can keep around 6 in to start depending on the heat and temp variance...

good luck and enjoy the grow ;)

Thanks yer it is a fluorescent light, but it produces tiny amounts of heat and shall i use my Fan aswell or will it be a little strong for the babys?

How did you plan on germinating your seeds? I see some people on this forum say bad things about the paper towel method but it has worked flawlessly for me for quite a long time. The key is to use a couple drops of superthrive in the water you wet the paper towel with. Put it somewhere dark. After 5 days or so you should have shoots with a taproot & a tiny round set of leaves. The key is temp, you need it above 75, 80 is ideal. At that point you can gently plant the taproot in a little dirt/perlite/vermiculite in a party cup or smaller container until it fills out & is ready to transplant. I have a success rate in the mid 90% range doing this. Also, I would recommend 24/0 or 20/4 to start, for maybe 3-4 weeks, depending on your space. Then go into 12/12. Unless you want to go straight to 12/12 like I did. It works well. You might sacrifice a little yield, but you get your weed a month sooner. :bigjoint:

you sure ? its late December and im from UK pretty much no Sun
dont waist your time veggin in the abysmal winter sun of Great Britain ;)

just get their legs goin under the light then later you can throw them in the sun probably not until march...

but remember the days are getting longer and they will never flower outside like that if they are sensing the daylight hours getting longer...

so... just be sure if you are gonna do the inside outside thing just make sure you stick to a strict flowering schedule and keep them dark for the dark period and bring them out into the light for the daytime period ;)

I've done this before too & it works but it's an unnecessary step to use the rockwool.

Well if you don't have sun, put them under your light for the sun on an 18/6 cycle or whatever ur planning to veg them on. If its a fluorescent you can keep that seed about 2-4 inches from the light. If its an HPS i'd keep it about 12 inches away. I'd recommend rock wool, it usually provides a nice medium for the seeds to grow and pop up top without being buried in soil, but you can put them directly in soil like bliss said, just wet the soil first and if it takes a few days for the seed to break the surface be super careful if you water it, and if you do, use a light misting spray bottle.

I've heard of 12/12 from seed :) how much less yield are we talking though?

nah... just have a thermometer check the temps at tops of the plants that they dont get hotter than 30 C's and they'll be fine ;)

id say maybe 15-20 cm should be fine but its all dependant on the temp on where you can keep the lights

I don't think anything is technically "wrong" with the plant, but I'm pretty sure it's a male. Looks like the start of a male flower.
