got a bag of premature bud, how to cure it?

Today i got 2.5 grams of some decent high grade bud. The problem is the taste is more leafy than danky. The smell is good but you can def tell its a bit premature. My buddy told me to put it in a jar and keep in a dark place overnight.

What do you think?

wont make difference overnight and won't make it increase in thc, maybe by weight because it will dry out more but not gonna magically transform it into magical pot or anything. If u wanna know about curing go to harvesting and curing forum and look at stickies. not gonna waste my time typing out info already easy to find.

the jar idea is good but if you can hold off a couple of days to smoke it will be better. Open the jar to vent the moisture out for about 30 min every 8 hours or so.

help me understand...premature...because at the end of the day the thc content isn't going to increase even if you put it in your jar overnight lol soz-

what are you actually trying to do? or ask your buddy what is he actually wanting you to do - oh and his reason because we must be missing something.

Is it wet??

who said anything about the THC content? sounds like it was not dry/cure correctly. put it in a jar in a cool dark place for a week, check and make sure it anit to wet the first couple days in the jar.

1 night in the jar really wont make a world of diffents, but it will help, the longer the better

I used to buy from this guy who half the time sold me wet bud... I never said anything cause it wasn't a big deal to me. The way I see it, just leave the bag open (in a drawer of course) for the first 3 days and it will dry out to where its better. IMO it was kinda fun getting such bags cause there's a variation to the smoke as you smoke it away. By the time you're done with it its real dry and has a different smoke texture.

9 year old thread. but if your gonna revive it, i suppose "I wee wee with my pee pee" is a good reason to.

edit: Nice... the guy who revived this thread got his account deleted and now i look like the necrofeliac.

I can’t believe that last person to comment in ‘04 was ok with buying weed that wasn’t ready yet! Lol I mean who in the fuck goes to buy weed... so they can bring it home to dry and cure it before they smoke?

go get a oz then gotta wait a month to smoke it. Might as well be growing bongsmilie :eyesmoke: :weed: :lol:
