Well my boyfriend has grown before, but that was his practice plant. He now has three going. Two are doing just fine but the biggest one isn't... At first the leafs were almost like claws but now they're more like upside down hot dog buns. we're not sure if it's the nutes or the heat.. Can someone help?
leafs like claws, im guessing downwards, like they stick out, curl down and almost back towards the plant? and now upsidedown hotdog buns.... hm im guessing you mean they arent flat, and the leaf itself doesnt just have a curl downwards in the tips, but the sides as well?
if i understand you correctly, this is nitrogen burn. the plant is dark green isnt it? not like a bright lively green but a darker green? almost a light black color? theres probably no yellowing on the plant either huh? (like the bottom of the plant isnt a lighter color then the top). if all if this is true, its a N abundance, late stages.
as long as your pH is 6.5 (in soil) and temp isnt higher then 85 degrees or so, thats what id guess.
PS: pictures (even somewhat bad quality) are worth a 1000 words.
PSS: CHECK MY THREAD!
https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/488004-guide-nutrient-deficiency-toxicity.html it shows a pic of nitrogen abundance on there, thats early stages of abundance, later stages you get the "nitrogen claw" where the leaves are like scraggly hands or something creepy.
if you dont have a way to check pH, go to the pet store, they sell cheap pH testers for water, and pH buffers (get the 6.5pH buffer, its great.)
