Great video, but I still disagree with an American citizen not excercising their right to vote. But as you say, you have the right to not give a fuck about voting or my opinion.

How'd this become about politics? Joe rogan is funny and I was watching some youtube thing where he was talking about sensory deprivation chambers and I'm definitely going to have to try that. Actually...sometime in the next few days hopefully. I'll let you guys know how it goes. But since I'm here.....
I think it matters more in how we shop and how we consume than it does how we vote. This is United States Inc. after all. The guy in the white house is just the CEO for a little while. All politicians (including ron paul) just say what you want to hear, even if what you want to hear is different from 4 years ago, they'll say it anyway, they're that obvious about it! When there's a camera in their face or they're on a podium they'll say how they stand for this talking point or that catch phrase and how they'll work for the people etc. etc. Really they're working for the lobyists who fund their campaigns so they can just get re-elected all over again. There's a huge conflict of interest. These politicians hardly ever do what's right and what makes sense instead of doing what's better for them or the people they work for. I think we should just draft people to be our representatives. One day you're a plumber, the next day your number gets called up and you're a senator for the next 2 years. John the plumber now doesn't have to worry about getting re-elected, about poll numbers and demograhics. All he has to do for the next two years is what's good for the people he represents and what's best for his country. Two years go by and he goes back to being a plumber and somebody else fills in.
I'd vote for ron paul though...only as a big fuck you to the democrats and republicans.

Joe Rogan is as we know a very outspoken proponnent of our cause. I think it would be awesome if he did an end of show message like Bob Barker did for years. I understand, he is likely constrained by the network he is on. But, let's face it, the American public is mystified by everything celebrities say and some non celebrities as well, The Kardashians, Paris Hilton etc etc. Woody Harrelson, Joe Rogan, Willie Nelson, Peter Tosh and a host of others could be doing a lot more to further the cause. I for one appreciated the message (for the most part) that Harborside Clinic made in Weed Wars. But a lot more still needs doing. Just my .02.:peace:

I hope you meant Daniel Tosh. Oh, and uh, Joe, I Smoke Crack!

we've never truly voted people. come on. you think these guys (the rich guys, not washington) give a fuck about your opinion? to the extent of believing your vote matters, would you not believe the media is corrupted and has alternative motives (i.e. controling your mind via making decisions easy for you. negative press, stumbles in speeches, incidents in history or technical exemptions). Money doesn't only buy you happiness, it also buys you everything you want if you have enough of it.

The only time I'd say voting really mattered for presidency is when it was a room of 50 guys or so trying to start a revolution in a new land. That didn't last long. Our economy absolutely controls our society and overall happiness.

If it takes ignorance to experience bliss, then it time for another bong pack.
