Week 6 Update.

Happy New Year.

Plant growth has improved over the last week; trichomes are readily appearing, calyx production has slowed and swelling is just beginning. Looks like she's on her final journey.

Since the last update, Large fan leaves that were more than 1/2 burned have been removed and distilled water (per cannabineer's advice) was used to flush soil.

Finally, I mixed up a batch of soil for the 2k grow.

Great looking buds the nute burn wont hurt that much i would extend the flowering period maybe even clip and let the secondary growth fill in.

+1 to longer flowering; I hope the smoke is good, yield will probably be affected.

As is, the secondary growth is a little behind. If it catches up, i'll take the whole thing down at once - otherwise a multiharvest is the plan. Did you run a grow both ways? Was the second harvesting worth the time?

This grow is a lot of fun and next time i hope there will be no burns.

Speaking of next time, it's time to start making plans! I intend to do a run from seed next round - maybe a large and shallow shared bed? It's winter and clover seeds are tough to find, but if they're available i was thinking about a living mulch as well.

Genetics are not my strong suit; there are so many breeders! TGA seeds (awesome plants) were locally available until recent, unjustified arbitration from a certain government official. Due to the germination and male:female rates, they are not worth the shipping from attitude. Dutch passion is another breeder with which I have had a pleasing experience. The "Ultimate" is one of the easiest growing plants I have grown - though there was notable variation in a pack of 10 feminized seeds.

Does anyone know of a good breeder with a quality sativa for smallish spaces? I have heard great things about Mandala but would prefer feminized seeds. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I was looking into dutch passion ultimate for a future grow in my pc case, would you reccomend it? Sorry I don't have any reccomendations, I don't get seeds locally I get all mine from attitude, I enjoy browsing through 'seed brands', alot of which have femenized versions of all their seeds.
Something I am excited to try in the future is medical seeds from attitude, i am looking at the medical white rhino which is said to help with ms arthiritus and insomnia (duh)

Thank you C.Indica, I have and currently am growing his gear. I have 3xSpaceQueen and 4xDeep Purple at the larger grow. They're great plants! However, for this context I would prefer feminized seeds, or a larger pack for that price.

Week 7 Update

Hello everyone, having a good Monday? Work has been really busy lately and I haven't had much time to post, update, or even tend the plant. I'm thrilled to be able to share this. Let's pack a bowl.

A faint but noticeable earth-skunk smell was discovered upon opening the closet door today. What a pleasing way to say "hey, i'm not dead." The tent smelled about the same, just a little sweeter. This apartment is not very big, hopefully the smell stays confined. Would there be an added benefit to the tent ventilation system/carbon filter running 24 hours now? The wife says: "is the smell ruining that beautiful suit he has hanging in there??"

The buds are starting to swell and most calyx/leaf production has stopped. Trichomes are coming along and necrotic leaves are continuing on their own path. There are extra bud leaves but they all look healthy and green. The pistils are starting to turn colors. I wasn't entirely convinced about the "internodal length" argument for the T5s and after squeezing a nug my mind was changed.
