ok..so ive got 3 of the healthiest, gooey matured plants ive ever seen....i trimmed couple buds, to dry and taste test..low and behold, they are full of seeds...can anyone tell me if there hermies, or males ? and are the 3 plants a total loss ?

Some people have all the luck. I've been trying to breed some stuff for the express purpose of getting seeds now for about 2 1/2 months. Out of 24 seeds I started all turned female. If the stuff smokes good then you ultimately scored!

whoa whoa, don't go pulling any plants yet with seeds. A large amount of seeds can be good. Maybe you left a male in there accidentally to long, doesn't take very much pollen to make some seeds. Hermies are a lot more rare then this site seems to think. Chances are you got a female that got a little male pollen. Pictures would help a lot more in identifying, But until then, let them grow, if those seeds are viable, you got to let them all ripen up. By the way, did you have to pull any males earlier?

hash the buds and trimmings if you have to... not a total loss, just a large inconvienience. keep an eye on the others... might not have everything harmed, but if you see males or anything else pull them ASAP

Males? . . . Really?
Without extensive back crossing you will have hermies all over the Pheno spectrum. With that many seeds you had more than a few male flowers.

And no, they are not males.

My theory is that everyone is chucking pollen these days so you don't really know what you are starting with unless you buy from a reputable seed vendor. My personal theory about mine is this... My landrace afghan seeds (I sprouted four), I know for a fact that they came from a farmer in Afghanistan so those were the luck of the draw. As for my other 12 (humboldt skunk) these came from a private grower that I know for a fact does all kinds of stupid shit. I think he is playing with fem seeds and does not know it, or he does know it and does not tell. The only good thing for me was that I did not pay for any of it, well aside from a two and a half month electric bill. I'm so glad I used my t5 instead of one of my 1kw's! And as for the private grower I know, I won't be running anymore of his stuff, that's for sure.

I've bought bags with seeds in em before and ya know what..I got high. If you're not growing to sell then a few seeds aren't going to matter too much. Here we are in newbie central and hermies and seed are a crisis. You're going to have hermies and males. If you want to flower and discover hermies at 6 weeks and chop..that's up to you. Me. I'm going to finish them, sort the seeds and smoke that shit. What's a couple of weeks? What you do with the seeds is up to you

Most of what I have is my own personal cross. everyone of them is a female. I think I got lucky but i have dozens more seeds. And if they all turn out female then I accidently created a feminized strain.

This happens much more often than you would think.
I've got a WW strain that does the same so everytime I grow it I get 100 (ish) seeds from over 2 lb of cured killer bud.
And of the 75 to 100 that I've germ'd (and friends too) they are all female.
Bummer huh?

If a plant turns hermie and pollinates other plants or itself then the seeds will all be female...I think a plant that hermie's would be kinda awesome, because you would have feminized seeds without havin to keep buying them, and ya know...I have never minded picking out seeds...lol. But some people really really don't like it...Like ugh all this really awesome weed has seeds so I'm not going to smoke it...?! What?! Just pick em out and carry on...IMO... But whenever all parents are female resulting seeds are female but more likely to be a little male too...like their parents...

Anyone remember back in the 70's when you didn't buy weed unless it had seeds in it & everyone had their Nike shoe box lid & student body card to sort everything out.
Just crush that bud up at the top of the lid, lift & drop the pile with your card & the seeds roll down to the bottow of the lid. $12.50 a lid!

Yes......forgot about the frisbee & the four finger bag! And everyone you knew had a coffee can full to the top with seeds. I don't remember buying my first bag w/o, but do remember sitting in a Jeep "jeepster" when I unwound my first Thai Stick. Don't recall
if they had seeds or not.
