Couple questions (Help appreciated and needed)

Hey everyone, i just wanted to say in advance, thanks for the help :mrgreen:.... but i have a few questions, 1. I wanted to know if (with the items below) i could do a party cup grow successfully, and if so, could i at least make an ounce if i veg for 3-4weeks? 2. If I can do this grow, how should i give my plants water? 3. how much of each nute should i give it?, and when should i give each of the 3 nutrients? 4. Will the roots be ok or is there a chance something could go wrong?

Setup
Soil: Fox farms ocean forest (12 QT)
Nutrients: General hydroponics 3 part flora (1 PT)
Lights: 6500K, 1600 Lumens, Daylight, 20-25 watt (100 watt equivilent) (8 of these bulbs)
Pots: 18oz Party cup

Firstly and please do not be offended...this is more than a few questions...this is how do I grow cannabis from A-Z. I would like to suggest if you are using Ocean Forest and have no other alternative make sure it is very well buffered with at least perlite. 50/50 mix give or take. That soil is very hot for seedlings. !8 oz party cups can get you into veg a couple of weeks but will have issues after that. The lights will be ok, but will produce no where near what HID will but you prob know that already. How many plants were you planning to grow? If just 1 with that much light, I highly doubt you will get a dry oz. The best advice I can offer is to read, study, plan, act. Please check the link in my signature, great video instruction from master growers. Best of luck to you!

Well, just like you said dont be offended :wink: BUT (In big bold letters) this is not "how do i grow cannabis from A-Z" its "How do i grow cannabis in an 18oz cup" which is more of a specialized grow, meaning.... SHUTUP BASTARD Lol jk, but thanks for the tips

What if at the moment im just a newb? what if im the best grower in the entire world? you do know just because im a noob for now dosent mean i cant pass up your rank of skill right?

Well, to be honest I was not offended by your earlier post, you claimed to be 'just kidding', and let it go. However now I am upset by your comments. Whether a 'specialized' grow or not most of us here are here to help newbies who are appreciative and willing to hear other's opinions. I tried too offer some suggestions, as I recall when you first posted on the introduce yourself thread, I welcomed you with open arms. You appear to be a very hostile and insulting person. And at this point if I were to see your meager, cfl, party cup, ditch weed plants burning on the side of the road, I would not stop too piss on them. Good day to you. As much as it is my pleasure and reson here to assist growers of Mother Ganja as most of us are. We cannot grow other's plants for them. Like so many before and after the OP's thread, many come here asking extremely basic questions that can be answered simply by doing a bit of research. I always try to be congenial and welcoming. helping when I can. But will I sit and type.."ok, now put the soil in the cup and make a hole about 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep and place your germinated...What's germinated mean? ok, take your seeds and place them in moist paper towels...What? I have no idea which ones are the females...ok, now that you see the tiny root coming out...No I do not think you will get a quarter pound from each seed by using 10 cfl bulbs"...etc etc. Not very likely.

sure grow the seeds in them, put clones in them, but use them to flower? why?
you want big buds? give them a decent pot.

the thing is the roots will fill that cup (or other small pot) and when the roots run outa room to grow, the plant stops growing.

that and if ya got lucky and grew a 5ft plant in a cup, the cup would topple over cuz its top heavy. but you wouldnt even get to that size, youd run into problems first. besides the roots having overgrown their pot, your looking at bad drainage, low quantity of soil (small pot) also means chem abundances happen EASILY, if you water too much, you essentially flush out the nutrients...

if the canopy (TOP LEVEL OF THE PLANT) is wider then the pot, then its time to re-pot
