yeah, there must be like 1 person who supports him soley because of his stance on drugs. Most people support him because of his views on the Constitution, the proper role of government and economics.
I don't support him because of his views of the Civil Rights Act of 64....I think he picks and chooses which part of the constitution he defends....but good to see he gives some of his money back...

You mean his views that government should stay out of other peoples business? Because thats his entire point with the whole civil rights thing, it has nothing to do with race or wanting to keep certain segments of society down. He was all for Blacks having equal rights, all for it, he just didn't feel that the Federal Government should be able to then control private property and business because of it.

Bullshit. He is an old man. He lived during the civil rights movement and knows exactly why these federal laws are necessary. He is just using that excuse to mask his racist agenda.

Solely by the people? Unless you are gay or anything but white! So funny how so many people on here only support Ron Paul just because of his stance on drugs!
Whats more amazing is that this your response to my list of 5 or 6 topics...I am also a miniority and while I am not gay my brother is openly and he works for Ron Paul. It is quite amazing to me that anyone who is a minority can be against Ron Paul, I would just assume they haven't given it much thought, can't think for themselves, or haven't looked it up.

I never thought he had much of a chance in the first place. While I don't believe anyone here would disagree with his ideals on cannabis law reform, if they are sincere. In many ways, he is just another politician trying to attain the highest office in the country to satuisfy his megalomaniac desires. Are'nt they all?

It is too bad that the people who REALLY know how to run this country are too busy arguing on cannabis forums.

Well the bottom line is this:

The establishment doesn't want Ron Paul as president and secondly all the other choices are not libertarian and are about the same old shit...I could disagree with him on everything else but those two facts alone make it so I am going to vote for Ron Paul...and really everyone should do the same...who else you gunna vote for obama or romney to continue the police state and the same old shit violating the constitution and doing what goldman sach's tells them to do.. I don't think so..this is why myself and other RP supporters think you guys are nuckin futz...its like you can't think for yourselves..

Tell you what..Opensecrets.org and look where all the money is coming from to each candidate...put two and two together....ponder for a moment...there ya go...stop buying into this yellow journalism brainwashing crap.

Yep, he was 13 years old when it started, if anything we can surmise that all 13 year olds are racist, right?

Isn't it funny how angry Ron "the bigot" Paul supporters get when somebody exposes their bigot for what he truly is?

Why is that?

We know why... ;)

Forgive my apparent ignorance but, I do believe that a part of Obama's campaign platform was cannabis law reform. He admitted he smoked and liked it, he promised the feds would not interfere with state's rights to vote for compassion. All good stuff right? What happened? Not saying that he is a terrible or wonderful person. He like Ron Paul is just another politician as I previously stated. And likje any other rat they will stay aboard a ship as long as there is smooth sailing. But, hit an iceberg like NORML lobbyists threatening the sanctity of the 'American WAY' and they jump ship faster than a chunk of hash burns in a bong. Just sayin'

Personally speaking, I would rather Obama stay in office then to have another 4 or 8 years of replublican right wing government anyway. My how quickly we hav forgotten the Bush years.

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/39684_Stormfront_Founder_Says_White_Supremacists_Thought_Ron_Paul_Was_One_of_Us

"It should be noted that there are also allegations by another neo-Nazi, Bill White (a personal friend of right wing blogger Robert Stacy McCain), that Ron Paul went far beyond simply expressing views with which white supremacists could agree. In 2007 White posted the following comment at Vanguard News Network:
Comrades:
I have kept quiet about the Ron Paul campaign for a while, because I didn’t see any need to say anything that would cause any trouble. However, reading the latest release from his campaign spokesman, I am compelled to tell the truth about Ron Paul’s extensive involvement in white nationalism.
Both Congressman Paul and his aides regularly meet with members of the Stormfront set, American Renaissance, the Institute for Historic Review, and others at the Tara Thai restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, usually on Wednesdays. This is part of a dinner that was originally organized by Pat Buchanan, Sam Francis and Joe Sobran, and has since been mostly taken over by the Council of Conservative Citizens.
I have attended these dinners, seen Paul and his aides there, and been invited to his offices in Washington to discuss policy.
For his spokesman to call white racialism a “small ideology” and claim white activists are “wasting their money” trying to influence Paul is ridiculous. Paul is a white nationalist of the Stormfront type who has always kept his racial views and his views about world Judaism quiet because of his political position.
I don’t know that it is necessarily good for Paul to “expose” this. However, he really is someone with extensive ties to white nationalism and for him to deny that in the belief he will be more respectable by denying it is outrageous — and I hate seeing people in the press who denounce racialism merely because they think it is not fashionable.
Bill White, Commander
American National Socialist Workers Party"

Do you think anyone cares what a letter that starts off with "Comrades" and ends with "American National Socialist Workers Party" says...The crap in between filled with conjecture and the connecting of dots that shouldn't be connected. It is also a strawman argument and a conspiracy theory..Think for yourself Man!
