I started DWC almost 2yrs ago.
I obviously did my homework before I went into it.
I say that to say, I have seen the Lucas Formula and by no means knock it.

RezDog's Recipe has done me GREAT.
It's THE only formula I have used since day 1 of going DWC.
My first DWC grow was my 12/12 From Seed in my sig.
I've had a couple successful harvest since then, but only threaded 5 I believe.

Here it is, as well as the this link to IC where I got it from too.

[HR][/HR] You've been asking exactly how I do what I do,with ferts, for a good long time.
This is a recipe for anybody to follow,based on my decade-plus experiences with GenHy's Flora Series.
It does smokin' good for me,your results may vary.
I'm always tweaking the above,and you should,too.

(All Products are GenHydro,pH at 5.5 pH)
(All measurements are per gal.)
6ml flora micro
9ml flora bloom
Kool-Bloom POWDER

VEGETATIVE STAGE AT 24 HRS. LIGHT ON
(18/6,optional)

Veg,Feed:

6ml flora micro
9ml flora bloom

Use the above 1/2-strength on seedlings and clones to 10" tall,then feed full-strength>on.




Based on 63 day 12/12 Flower Cycle:

Day 1-14
6ml micro
9ml bloom

Day 15-21
6ml micro
9ml bloom
1 tsp./Gal. Kool-Bloom POWDER (ONE FEED,DAY 15!)

Day 22-28
6ml micro
9ml Bloom

Day 29-35
9ml Bloom
1 tsp./gal. Kool-Bloom POWDER (ONE FEED,DAY 29!)

Day 36-52
9 ml Bloom
(AND ON DAY 36,a 1 tsp./gal Kool-Bloom POWDER Slam!!)

Day 52-63 (Flush)
5.5-6.0 pH h20 at 50 ppm


Now you know!!





ADDENDUM 9-6-09:

I've seen yields increase about 15% (!!) with the above modifications.

Are those 1 part gh solutions? Trying to translate that into an/sensi/2-part nutes terms. Hah

I only do a rez change when I switch to Bloom.
My coolers hold 10gal of nute solution.
I'm adding a gallon+ daily of fresh water, with added nutes maybe twice weekly.
And I don't have salt build up bcuz I don't over feed like a lot of growers, pushing everything they grow to 1500+ppm's.
I did the every 2 week change and found no diff in yield or quality with doing it the way I do now.

When I grew with GH I noticed that too. They want their growers to use way too many nutes and GH is pretty heavy in Salts anyways. If you use GH and the nutrient calculator I would cut it in half or use a lighter dosage amount then GH asks. GH probably just wants you to run out quicker so you buy more.

That's the case with MOST nute manufacturers, IMHO.
They put out these dosing charts and shit, with crazy amounts of ferts.
I could never feed my plants what they say to feed.
My shit would be dead in a day or 2 from the nutes being so damn hot.
That doesn't even BEGIN to cover all the fuggin additives THEY suggest.
People spending hundreds in nutes for every grow they do.
FUCK THAT !

PBP Cal/Mag (for my R/O water)

I might add FloraLicious once in a while, but not too often or with every grow.
Otherwise, I use the same 4 nutes EVERY grow and nothing more !

In a DWC setup do you add the KoolBloom day 15 and 29 and leave it in the bucket, topping off with water/Micro/Bloom as usual? Or do you add KoolBloom just those days, then flush the day after and refill with water/Micro/Bloom? Sorry, its my first DWC and I couldnt grasp the one day feed. Also, after day 36, is KoolBloom in your top off solution until flush? Thanks in advance
