Man I would love to grow some of that AI. I have AK47 going that I just started, what's the difference between that & AK48? You're gonna have some huge buds after that long veg cycle...

hey thanks rombomb ya they will have huge colas especially the AK It sucks it's just the 2 I wish I could started them all at the same time. from what I here there is a huge difference between 48 and 47. 47 is suppose to be a of cross of Mexican,Thai,Colombian,and afgani wile the 48 is a cross of jock horror and ice. making the plant have an indica growth pattern but have a sativa high, that's why I got it I love sativa high but hate stretchy lanky ass bitches

Best luck with keeping your girls, girls. I know how frustrating hermies can be. I had to kill my biggest healthiest plant last grow because it hermied out of control, would have ruined my whole grow, since the second plant was just barely starting to flower, it would have been nothing but a seed factory.

Well, I guess it kinda makes sense, since studies suggest girls are more likely to be bi-curious than guys. As long as they don't go full lesbian, we all win, lol.

well I had a big fuckin surprise when my lights turned on tonight, good and bad. first the good,my 2 big plants are pumping out the trichromes now
. now the bad, my big AI is herming out of control. I just got done being in there for about 2 hours picking off every single sack I could find, but I'm sure I missed some. im glad I searched today because there was a couple pretty close to being mature and releasing pollen. and it looks like that plant is throwing ou new ones. so I don't kno what to do, I don't wanna kill it because of all the wasted time and energy and it will yield alot. but I don't wanna risk tainting my good females, particulary the ak48 which is right next to it

Sorry to say, but even if you save it, odds are it will at least pollinate itself, and bud production will slow as seed production begins, which will kill your yield anyway. Just bite the bullet and kill it, we all have to take a life every now and then for the greater good. May she/he rest in peace.

idk I might wait some more but I'm pretty sure I'm going to kill it, all my other plants are doing excellent though!!! they are changing every single day getting more and more pistils and trichromes. I also thinned out my AK48 today cut off all the lower branches that weren't going to amount to anything and took off a couple big fan leafs blocking some buds

can you move it outside??another room away from the main crop??
At least keep it outside long enough to be able to catch some of the pollen.
You can then catch some of the pollen and dust a couple of the smaller buds on 1 or 2 of your OTHER plants to make feminized seeds.
Then you can have a large amount of good quality seeds
