Hps/Leaves Question

hi guys, only one question i have. i i vegetated my girl with 100w CFL , and now i flowering with an hps 250w aproximatly 50 CM near the ligth. but some leaves are very big and some little buds can't take the ligth. My question is: Can i CUT those big leaves from this photos?
Some say it is better to curl the leaf or leaves, under another side stem or side leaf instead of exposing inside tissues of the plant to possible infection. Hope this helps good luck

That plant is so stretched there really shouldn't be a need to cut any of those leaves off...they shouldn't be doing much in the way of preventing light from penetrating...if they are just bend them down and back a bit...next time use the 250watt HPS to veg ;)

Ya, never cut leaves off if they are healthy. If they are in the way just tuck them under branches out of the way. Those big fan leaves are important for the overall health of your plant.

I have heard a lot of folks say it's proper to thin out the fan leaves but from my experience leave them alone until they become diseased or dotherwise damaged. The big fan leaves do most of the photosynthetic work and aid in the plants' development. Cutting them off for any other reason is akin to putting yourself on a heavy diet. Not a good idea if you're already stressed and malnourished.

Well, I know that the photosynthesis is done in the presence of light. You should not cut the big leave, rather
you should arrange low intensity light for those buds. Surely, it will work. Clarkston Workout
